A break of 8 got away early but never looked like much of a threat and AG2R, who would be looking to dominate in the small continental race with only 67 riders entered, began to put the hammer on.
2 riders attacked with about 40km two go, Capelle of Roubaix and Goubert of AG2R, as AG2R's main man, Mondory. With 10 kilometres to go Seledkov realised that they were going to easily stay away and tried to reach them.
As the leaders came under the 1km banner Capelle had a clear advantage. While Seledkov was looking good for 3rd place.
Capelle celebrated before he reached the finish.
Seledkov easily took third while Mondory led the rest home.

we hadn't had much luck so far with breakaways so today both Schmidt and Vorontsov were able to get in the leading group.
with around a hundred kms to go the gap was promising, at over ten minutes so the two russians decided to try and work together and claim a win.
our two guys looked as though they would be pulled back in so trofimov attacked and got a 40second advantage over the peloton, which was beginning to wind up for the sprint.
disaster struck within 5km of the finish when one of trofimovs two companions, roubaix rider Finot came unstuck going around a nasty hairpin bend.
and.... chaos!, our sprint train is completely ruined, one of our riders is injured and Seledkov retires. one of the favorites, Van Emden, is down as well as a lot of Agritubel riders.
with the chaos behind trofimov thought he might be able to hold the peloton off and opened up the sprint but was quickly overtaken by the remaining sprinters and faded to take 8th behind Amore e Vita rider Gasparre as his team mate celebrated in the background next to half a Bretagne rider

disappointing not to be able to get onto the podium but then our whole sprint train was destroyed so what can you do!.

A break of 4 forms straight after the riders roll out and today Khahuntsev is getting our sponsors some attention.
all goes as usual and the break was pulled back in after getting a maximum advantage of over ten minutes. Capelle and two other riders attacked going over a speedbump 20km from the finish so i radio Sherbakov to go with them in case they are able to stay away.
with 12km to go sherbakovs group has 20 seconds to a chaser who is a further 20 seconds in front of the peloton.
Koudentsov was going to lead Kocjan out today and surged forward looking for favorite Edvald Boasson's wheel.
Then the train we were in split and everything went terribly wrong. Kocjan got stuck behind Gasparre who was going backwards at a rate of knots and Koudentsov got led of to the left by a weak train. Meanwhile everything was looking good for Hagen as he got a fantastic lead out from his team mate
with a km to go it was definitely a two horse race with kocjan and koudentsov both moving quickly through the field behind the leaders.
unofrtunately or perhaps fittingly my screenshot program decided it didnt want to take a picture of Hagen winning, which he did narrowly on the line ahead of Bonsergent of Bretagne and Rasmussen of Team GLS. Klyuev and Koudentsov came from terrible positions to finish 10th and 14th respectively (still a ++++)

th first stage of a 3 day race which is mostly flat and we will take a strong team to try and claim our first victory for some time. Our leaders for the overall will be Klyuev and Kocjan and will be supported strongly in the sprints by Maximov and Koudentsov.

A short flat time trial in which we would look to consolidate our domination and to keep Klyuev in the overall lead.
We were successful, taking positions 1,2,4,7 and 9

Another update in unusually quick succession in order to regain some attention
the next race is a day for the sprinters who are strong when the road rises on a flat French circuit finishing on the top of a nasty little hill.
we take a mid strength team, with most of our stars at the Triptyque de Montes es Chateaux but it does include one of our leaders, Yuri Trofimov.

We would be looking to get Trofimov a high finish against formidable PT competition, including Credit Agricole, Bouygues Telecom, Unibet, Francais de Jeux and Ag2r, as well as Agritubel.
It was a strange race and no breakaway was able to really get a gap, however things weren't going great for Unibet, one of their better riders crashing at the halfway point.
The action began with 20km to go and Trofimov decided to take Gadrets wheel.
with 15km to go it was Fedrigo and Casar, being chased by a group of 4 which included Gadret and Trofimov.
They weren't able to make contact and as the sprint began Yuri decided to take a sip of his vodka, a move that completely destroyed his chances of a top 5 finish as his companions sprinted away from him
Up ahead Fedrigo overpowered Casar to claim the victory.
