Perfect to shake the sky train, as it is hard all day, could have wished for a harder finish, but still the stage is brilliant.
My hope is that the team Sky will be under pressure all ready on the Madelaine, and then the other teams will try to get rid of porte and rogers with high teampo on Col de la Croix.
When they are gone it has to be attack attack to try to make Froome or Wiggins Crack. If that happens it full speed all the way home.
If the first 130 km are raced hard enough i believe La Toussuire could still be hard enough to distance Wiggins or Froome, stille would be better with a harder profile.
Problem is, that Wiggo and Froome looks like best climbers at the Tour, followed by Porte and Rogers, so who is supposed to crack them?

Maybe we'll see a solo 100km break from Nibali after the first mountain to win stage by 5mins... Kinda like Landis did |

Come on, Rogers and Porte are considerably worse than evans, nibali, van den broeck etc and last multi climb stage Wiggins did he lost more than 3minutes to Frank Schleck, if the strategy from opposition teams is good enough, Wiggins could well be put into danger |

It was sarcastic, but the sad part is, only a little.

Gesink attacking. Interesting to see whether he has improved enough to contend for the stage, I kinda doubt it.

Just to say Avin - I am disappointed at you After you hyped Velits chances before the Tour, I made an avatar bet on facebook with him, and put him in my velogames... I am not happy now
Anyway, crazy start so far

I think that's Gesink de Weert C.A Sorensen and that Astana rider could be Kiserlovski |

Yeah, he is lame in the mountains so far, but he is top 10 in TTs for sure at least I have him in my fantasy teams aswell, so i hope he will be better in the third week as he usually is and will try some long attack in the Alps. So sorry for that

There are 3 BMC riders in this group (Burghardt, Phil and someone else) Evans planning something? |

So, who votes in favour of removing the team classification? |

And UCI points. They should also fine riders finishing 6th to 15th in GC, but that might be too radical.
