Very strong break. Very nice to see Scarponi there. Good stage for him. |

Meh, no-one in the break that's a threat to Sky in GC.
Means Sky will cruise till Colombier ( with Eisel, Knees, EBH ) and then go with A team. No need to use big guns early on for them. Wanted someone in the break around 5mins down, the best there is 10mins....

No. Actually it means that teams like Lotto will help Sky later...hopefully not as this is a chance to let them work... |

This means Sagan is now pretty much guaranteed green.

I think these climbs are too much for him. He'll go for the intermediate sprint and then drop back on the Grand Colombier. At least I think so, but you never know with him.

Great move from Sagan, if nothing bad happens he will win the intermidiate and his lead in point competition will be overwhelming
The break is strong but not dangerous, i hope for Cadel move as he has people there...

the fact that sagan is here looks like the setup for a nibali attack, where sagan waits to pace him down the grand colombier.
Cetainly looks like RSNT have some thing planned to, Voigt and Popovych could set great pace for a guy like Schleck.
Evans have a couple of men there to.
Why are sky letting this break go, to much confidence i guess!!!

Rather because of green jersey points, but that option you mentioned could be also good. But Sagan will lead the group and win JK

Sagan would slow Nibali down downhill as well as up the mountain. He isn't a slouch downhill, but Nibali is an absolute bullet.
