Ah, Europa Barbarorum! One of the greatest mods I've ever played.
This is a dangerous thread. It makes me want to play all kinds of enormously time consuming games again.

Decided to buy Shogun 2, as its gone on sale. I played the demo and really enjoyed it, and I have a huge interest in Japanese culture and history, so I think I may really enjoy this the most of the TW games I own.
Didn't have enough left in my Steam Wallet to get the Rise of the Samurai DLC, but I may get it later, or during the Winter Sales.

I just hope you will not learn how to use geishas for the benefit of Meji in the man-game.

Wow. Rome 2 will be so incredible. And it will even look better than in the video, since it's just an Alpha
100% sure that I'm gonna get it...

If anyone is interested, I randomly received a Total War Shogun 2 75% off coupon on steam, and since I already have the game, Im willing to give it away to someone thats going to buy it. It expires tomorrow.
If you want it, PM me.
I'll edit the post when the offer is over.

That game is a legend, i joined the fun with a second edition and i spent with it maybe more time than with PCM. As PCM, Paradox games have fantastic community, which is working on many overhauls and mods (Alakagom knows as i remmber him saying that he was part of it).
If you are a fan of history and geography and times of explorers, there are not better games than EU series (and other Paradox games like Victoria or Crusader kings).
The games are also pretty tough for a newcomer, but finding out the way to be good at it is part of fun.

Anything Paradox touches turns to gold. They are including a lot of the best features of the (absolutely superb) Magna Mundi mod, including some that were going to be in the full Magna Mundi game (which was scrapped because the project lead was missing deadlines and still not putting out the quality of work which he was promising).
Europa Universalis IV is my most anticipated game of the year.

Started playing Europa Universalis III when I got it in the forum newsletter thing. Amazing game. Then I bougth Crusader Kings II when it was on a Steam sale just now. Getting close to 200 hours in those games combined. Still feel like a rookie in them. I will probably end up with EUIV when that arrives.

Less than three months away...
(Haven't found any pics of my favoured Seleucids yet so this will have to suffice for now )
