Just to let everyone know, I expect the next stage to be up around this time tomorrow. I've written half of it and it is already about the same length as the previous report.

Nice to see the exported results are working
Sano did a valiant ride, but just sad that the Txurukka group was s.t as him.

A great report, and even a acceptable result from Kessiakoff! I hope he gets more results.

5 minutes for Agudelo, 13 minutes for Vasquez. I can only hope for a miracle for one of them to actually stand a chance at a top 10 overall.
Good stuff from Le Bon though, hopefully we can continue to feature in the breakaways, now also with Vasquez on a mountain stage.
Anyway, a great report, CountArach! I really enjoyed it

What a stage! It felt very realistic reading it with the detailed geographic description, and all the racing, thanks for that report Count.
It's kinda of frustrating though to see Nicácio falling short so close to the finish, those 30'' could be really useful. But he actually did better than I expected, and with TTT just around the corner it won't have much of an impact hopefully. Nice to see another rider of ours in the break once again.
It isn't overly pleasing to see a direct competitor in the teams classification making a 1-2, but at least it was a former rider of mine who took the win. And overall it was a very pleasant stage to read, with all the teams living up to it. I'm glad I spent 21 of my race days in this awesome race!... at least till now

I'm so happy, unbelievable stage
Hopefully they can stay 1-2 all the way to the finish.
Too bad Maksimov couldn't make the time limit, but I can't say I'm not surprised. He will surely be given some training in the off-season.
And as always, great detailed report CountArach.

That'll be quite expensive to have a significant effect, doesn't it?

Yeah I have start to crunch the number and it will be a hefty amount
but I think it will be worth it since he is only 24 years old
so I can spread the training over 2-3 years.

Wouldn't it be easier just to hire a better sprinter?

I'm actually happy we lost the yellow jersey. The team doesn't have to work on the front and we will just take it back when we get to the mountains.
@Gustavovskiy: His wage should drop significantly because he still wasn't won a stage this year and he has youth on his side. Plus it would be better of the man-game in general if he was trained rather then me just going out and buying a better sprinter, which would probably cost me more anyways.
That's just my thought behind it.

Another great time trial report from you, CountArach, they're really enjoyable! Nice to see Focused take a win due to their team strength, they'll surely be strong in the future, as there are lots of talents to develop there.
Good performance from our team aswell, hopefully we can somehow succeed and grab a stage win or two in this race now, as a good overall placing seems out of reach. |

Oh, that was a chance for Agudelo to get back some time, but of course he missed it
I can only assume Jørgensen must have been dead in the sprint, he should've been able to do better than 14th.
Weird stage, if this Tour continue this way, I'm definitely looking forward to the reports, should be an entertaining race all the way through! |

Yeah I was a bit pissed off because I had really enjoyed all the stages before this one but then I realised that it was only the Hollister GC guys doing well so most of the favourites didn't lose time to each other and also if anyone wants to win this then we will have to see some crazy attacks.

How much was the bribe that Hollister offered?
Really weird stage, to be honest. And Greipel loves 2nd places.

Don't really know how that stage could have gone better for my GC ambitions, top3 and a 3 minute gap to any of my major competitors.
Which of course means that all my riders will fall off their bikes and out the tour in the next couple of stages |

Wow, congratulations once again to Meiji - Fuji!
And seeing Manan is able to do it, it gives some hope Jørgensen should be able to do something in the coming sprints.
I'm looking forward to stage 10-14 now, feel we've had enough sprints, bring on the mountains! |

+1. A disappointing stage for the team. Any chance we can skip over the flat stages now that I don't make Maksimov? (Quick Sim)
