I redownloaded the game and love it. I won my first game 1-0 over france with portugal. But then lost 1-0 to brazil with argentina. I might just decide to buy it for the pc and import it to the US. Instead of waiting till February for it to come for the PS3 here in the US.

You've got a Ps3 Just how good is it? (And I know it's so much cheaper out in America )

one of my mates has a PS3, i haven't been on it but he says it's great.
on the other hand a lot of my mates have Xbox 360's, and they say that they are better than PS3's
i personally would rather buy a PS3 as i like the controls better, but they are heavily overpriced

of course they would say that
it all depends on your definition of "better". graphical power? as part of a course, I've done a paper comparing them. the XBOX360 wins marginally.
other random features? they're even for the most part.
as for quality of games, it's all subjective. I'd settle for PES and Metal Gear, so I'd get a PS3. but that is my completely subjective opinion

Are you saying it is cheap in America. Because let me tell, IT IS NOT. Maybe it would appear cheap to someone with the Pound for their currency, but in the Dollar it is expensive. And yes i like it, but i don't have that many games for it, can't wait for Assassin's Creed. One of the reason's i got it was because i think blu-ray will be the next gen DVD of choice.

clearly you haven't compared prices. in the US the price is 59% of the price over here. tell me that's not a huge difference.

It costs $499 = £250 in America
In England, it costs £400 = $800
I'd say it's far cheaper.
And of course, everything is subjective, but graphics - they come second for me compared to the gameplay

i would quite happily pay £250 for a PS3, the only problem is waiting for the price to drop that much

I know - in Japan, it's even cheaper, but in Britain, we pay double or more because "it's more expensive to sell things in Britain". I know its probably a little, but come on, doubling the price is just ridiculous
And of course, I would wait for the ps3 to drop, but the first drop got lot's of hype - it was about £20

just to prove the point that David Villa is a diver and a cheater
video:
https://www.mediafire.com/?emgidsddeki
(as you can see I didn't even touch him)
I like this new diving feature. especially because Villa was computer controlled and the ref gave him a yellow card for diving

@Addy
the usb ports can be used to connect the psp to the ps3, for example, and Isso already got the backwards compatability bit.
@Issoisso
Have you found the controls for diving yet? the CPU has a dived quite a few times, including one time in the box at 89 mins...and he got a yellow card - I was on the edge of my seat for a minute though! |
