I'm pretty sure that there is no trading of cards. That's a massive bummer. Probably won't go back to Armada until that is implemented, if ever. Stupid Cyanide, the main attraction of a card-based game is trading. SMH

Just finished first race with Vattenfall Cyclassics. One guy got Cav (and constantly told us how the others are screwed), but he fell with 2k to go 
Managed 5th with Galland, 8th with Ratto, and won the teams competition, so quite a good start.

they added the stages of the next days, there are some cobble stages for the next days.
too much mountain for my likings, i would prefer that only 1/4 would be a mountain stage

Played my first race ad came 4 out of 4 of human players.
Stupid team attacker in the game too, completely ruined it!

2 much mountain? i play nonstop the borring flat stages, although i choose the 1 and only mountain stage there is. |

I have yeh,I put £20 into it to start me off and have a half decent team, its not cheating, its what most people are doing so I am too.

Well just had a pretty fun first game of Armada, 250k flat, Sutton my team leader (only silver rider I have). All together most of the race was a 21 man breakaway group, myself and another team basically doing all the work for the P to catch them. Finally did with about 20k to go, though other attacks came at that point, got Sutton behind one of them and sprint past a few others to finish 4th. (1st against the other users). One of my riders abandoned, 2 more came in 10 minutes behind the P after they dropped from exhaustion of chasing break.
Overall it actually felt like a solid game experience, sprint trains never really got formed, think every other team in the P was like mine, didn't have any riders left around the 15k left mark. (I litterally only had Sutton with any yellow or green bar left...he was in great shape though after being protected the whole race.)

I was wondering about this too.
I bought myself the big pack of cyans for 14 euro..
So now i have 5 gold riders, and an overall good team which I enjoy to play with, but allmost every stage I play, people comment on my riders, and it seems people dont like that some buy coins.
I thought most would buy some coins to secure a half decent team, but it seems most doesnt.. If i knew, i would rather go the same way most other does, and build up the team the way others are..
What do you guys do? buy coins or no?
They have this great beer here in England, I really love it. Its called Pint.

In each of the first two games I played, I got destroyed by 2 or 3 teams with gold riders. Nibali, Evans, Sanchez, Breschel, Flecha and a few others. So I spent £10 on cyans.
Got lucky, ended up with 86 mountain contandor and 83 cobble boonen (with equipment). In the next 6 races I did, I only saw 1 other team with gold riders like mine. Really annoyed me, takes out the fun without good competition, and I think most others in the race didn't like 80s against 70s and 60s judging by there comments.
To me its seems like Cyanide are trying to match up a team with good riders against a load of bad ones to rake in the money. Well thats just my experience xD

i played a lot for buy a gold pack with 5000 coins, but this is really unfair... most of free games have not such a big advantage for pay money, in fifa ultimate team the advantage of pay extra money is nowhere near as big as this. they forgot that this is not a free game, they could get some advantage but make this a money paid battle its ridiculous... at least they could have put a limit of gold packs per day, because buy 30 gold packs the first 3 days its ridiculous. and probably will be more difference because the renewal of contracts.
the people that not pay will be forced to stop playing this because cant do nothing against cancellara,contador,gilbert... so in the end will be worse for everybody.
for have a decent chance to get ronaldo/messi in Fifa Ultimate Team you need to spend really big amount, and you can buy a gold pack with 10-13 matches played (about 15min each match). also there are overpowered low rated players (pace players) that you can buy cheap for have a decent team, and if you are much better than one that paid 1000€ you will win anyway. but here if somebody have contador there is nothing to do. Also there is trade in FUT, which it helps to make coins and also helps it to be more balanced. |

I probably won't buy anhy packs. I think they are expensive, compared for exmple with Fifa UT, where you can buy packs for 1 euro.
Also, I hope that by the time I get the game, Cyanide will restrict the type of riders you use so I will only face bronze riders in the beggining (this was mentioned in the Open Bar and apparently wasn't implemented. |
