Yea, nice reports. And nice racing so far for Venchi.
Placing in the last two stages, Krazzo is in the top 10 which is goal territory. Hopefully we keep attacking, |

Superb racing by Pellizotti. Hopefully he will hang on to his lead through the race.
Marinangeli is sprinting well, just waiting for a bunch sprint.

Good result, but I think Eastman can only lose time from here. With any luck, Brandt will try some stage heroics, with Jeannesson shepparding Eastman around. A stage win would be nice from Sinner

So why did De Greef finish 14'30" down?
I actually have no idea, I didn't see him puncture or crash, so I've really got no idea. But a crash might be the answer, as he shouldn't finish that much behind, but if he crashed, I somehow missed it completely.
Edit: And thanks for the nice words on the reports, I'm trying to not "loose quality" eventhough the reports are coming fast. Stage 6 and 7 should come later today, with the Queen stage coming early tomorrow, as it's raced and ready to be posted.

The whole team is performing ahead of themselves here, Richardson is far higher in GC than expected. If Casar and Lowe can slowly climb their way up, we can have a top 10 or two. I hope we can keep the team prize, though.
Great race by Pelizotti, though

Pellizotti was amazingly strong there. Great reports, and they're coming thick and fast. |

First off, the quality of the reports is really high and the amount of detail in them is just how I like it.
As for De Greef, I assume he crashed and got injured - blocking wouldn't explain 14 minutes behind. Hopefully he will attack on a later stage, but I'm not optimistic.

It's another big performance from a Venchi rider. They really are making a big push at the moment, Pirelli's Castano not really performing and LL Sanchez was desperate there.
Nice work ember.

Shit. There goes my little hope for a top10...
Ruijgh probably be lightly injured. Hoefully just for 2-3 days and then please attack on some of the last stages for a stage win. |

Yep, sounds like an injury to me. Sigh, just when I thought he might have a chance of justifying my entry here. Also, why didn't Gautier try and do something today - I brought him here to hunt stages, so he just sat in the bunch. Sigh, this is a team of morons.
The Pellizotti vs Sanchez battle is shaping up to be incredibly tight.

It sure is proving a horrible race for Bpost, I guess the bubble is bursting.
Behind the top two it's very tight between 3rd and 8th, I cannot believe that Castano is not going to move up to challenge Eastman, whose CalGiant team will be getting a little nervous with one man for GC left.

Oh well. I did hope Paulinho could win this race. At least he can go for third, and Team WWE can go for team win.

I suppose Sinner's failure is down to my not sending a proper leadout man. At least Eastman is staying out of trouble.

Marinangeli has been 2nd and 3rd on far to many stages this seasen. When he eventually wins the bunch sprints, the break are in front of them. I'm very glad he finally won.

wow, nail-biting stuff. Definitely pleased taking the queen stage, and two riders in the top 10 should secure our goal.
The upcoming TT should prove interesting. |

Congrats to jack888 and Krasnoperov. What a magnificent climb.
My riders weren't even mentioned... surely doing something in a break is kind of important? Stubbe may just manage a top 20 overall.

That's about as good as I think we could have expected. Fantastic reporting.
