Only a week to olympics! Can't wait to see Phelps and Pellegrini my two swimming favourites and Bolt.
Just to show off: I'm going to the 100m final
Will you take your camera with you?

Very big then. I would love to be there and just take in the spirit of the olympics ( i know it's cliche), but i'll have to wait maybe the next olympics after London. |

Has Canada some medal candidates on the non-icy olympics?
Czech republic could earn 5-8 medals i think and Slovakia 3-4 i hope (one from cycling).
Well actually Clara Hughes is a good bet for the Womens Cycling Events. I could see her Medal-ing the ITT actually.
Despatie has a good shot for diving.
I think Van Koeverden could get a Top 3 in Singles Rowing. Other than that, I am not too sure.
And actually SN pointed out Bell and Whitten.

Really? Wouldn't be bad for a first trip to Brasil! Need to spare some money fast then. |

Kayaking, not Rowing. Though they are pretty similar and at the same venue! Looks like he won last year's World Championships by 3 seconds, so ought to be a favourite.

I made an Olympic prediction game for another forum I go on, would you guys like me to post it on here as well? It is just a list of all the events and you predict the winners of them.

I got the day with the 100m heats and the final day of heptathlon, I also got Women's football at Cardiff (on Wednesday), both hockey 3/4 playoffs and canoe sprint |

Not saying anything, but make sure you watch Friday, it's amazing.

just have to point out that Kayaking is at the Lea Valley White Water Center
Rowing is at Eton Downey
not the same place, but still sort of similar events
Planned my day for the road race, up at 6:00 so i can get to the Hill in time to get a good spot (for reference it takes my 45mins to get to the hill)

Do you have a ticket for the hill? Cause else you won't get up there

not ticketed, but i know all of the paths and access routes so getting in will be a piece of cake, plus there are parts of the hill not ticketed or blocked off

True, but the ticketed area will be impossible to get into. Just so ya know.
