Which riders do you think will be the main contenders in the GTs? It's always hard to look past Contador, the Schlecks, Evans etc, but we do believe we can be right up there. We have a strong squad to back up our leaders, and so expect to see a hard fought battle in the big races.
What is the biggest weakness in your squad? We lack a superpowered sprinter to fight the flat finishes, we hope to improve this problem for future seasons, for now making do with dominant performances in the mountains
Who has the best squad? The best squad? Tricky, for sprinters clearly Ferrari will be hard to beat, Holden look well built for GC's and the cobbles will be well controlled by the BMW-Allianz team.
Which conti team looks best? Well, It is hard to decide which team is the strongest out there, but i would say that both Bologna and MTN-Supersport will be able to contend in some top races, so i'll go for these 2.
Viens Questions
As Fernando suggested, Levi will be leading the team at 2 GT's this year! We feel his chance of overall victory may be slim due to strong competition, but none the less, we will try, and top5 seems a respectable goal.
Freitas
Can we negotiate Ventoso? Ventoso is signed on a 2 year deal, If we were able to secure a similar quality sprinter, then Francisco may become available, but he is very much a part of our squad, so an early transfer is not the most likely.
What do you think about Wiggins's Tour chances? For a high final place, Good. Many TT Kilometres will suit us superbly, and we can look after him in the mountains. The TdF is the number one goal for the season, so expect a strong squad from Swalec.
