Team CSC - Getting back to the top!
fernando97
Our team is about to start Tour de Haut Var, and our squad is very interesting.
We send there two of our GC contenders, Ivan and Andy. The squad:img839.imageshack.us/img839/2120/hautvarsquad.jpg

This race contains one flat, and one hilly stage, and we're looking for the GC.

P.S. The upcoming WT races will get longer repoets, I just want to get there quickly.

Looks a very strong squad for you there, Good Luck Wink

It didn't go well. Sad But anyway here is a summary.

Tour de Haut Var

Stage 1

DS: Hilly finish, it not suits our riders so well, but we're trying.
Voeckler wins! He outsprints everybody!
img215.imageshack.us/img215/1539/thv1.jpg

Stage 2

DS: It"s classified as hilly, so Zabriskie can have a shot there.
Voeckler dominates! He easily blasts away with a powerful late attack, and wins the stage and the GC!

Giro di Sardegna

Stage 1

DS: Thsi on is a hilly stage with an uphill finish, Voigt will try to surprise Cunego,J- Rod and Visconti.

Our plan worked, but Visconti overtook Voigt on the line, and made the jump.
Voigt came 2nd, he was very happy with the placement.

DS: Nice stage win, next stage is flat, Rasmussen is eager to win.

Nice victory by Voight

fernando97
Thanks.

How could I improve my story-writing ability?
Would you mind suggest me a new format, or should I keep with the current one?

sutty68
I find this format enjoyable and easy to read and understand Wink

YvesStevens
This is good, maybe more explanation/discription at a stage

alex valceanu
As Stevens said , a stage profile would be great . But in rest is OK. Keep it up and btw very good results !Smile

fernando97
Thanks for the reviews, i'll try to tell more, upcoming WT races gonna get a few more description/picture etc. For CT races, I'd keep this format.

Stage 3

DS: Hilly start, flat finish. Rasmussen?

No. Vona beats him at the line. What a shame after a great leadout by Voigt.

Stage 4

DS: Hilly stage, we're looking after the jersey.

Voigt wins another stage! What an outstanding performance!

Stage 5

DS: Nice easy flat stage. No problem.

What's happening there? Voigt is down! Mass crash in the last kilometres! img84.imageshack.us/img84/1356/gds5crash.jpg Meanwhile Petachhi takes the win, Voigt fights his way to the peleton and gets the same time as Petacchi. HUH.

I'll update this story, but my computer is not working, and it's in a service. Anyway, see you soon with a fresh look at the things. I already played the Omloop and the K-B-K along with GP di Lugano, but i can't post the reports until my PC gets healed.
Sorry for the break, trying to get back soon!
