That looks like a very close sprint there! Smile

Yeah I't was , after all It would be better if I toke Cav's wheel instead of Impey's one , but it was a bet and I't wasn't the good one Wink

Aah, so close! But still a great way to start with this Tour Down Under. Like dienblad said, just take some different screens but all in all it´s great to read so far Smile Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next stages and by the way the whole season. Wink

A nice start to your GreenEdge career with podium finishes in both the Australian Road Race and Time Trial Championships Smile

And then so unlucky for Gossy in the sprint with Cavendish Sadl

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/Naamloos.jpg

Yesterday we lost the final sprint very close , today we're having another tactic , we want Goss to take both intermediate sprints and Gerrans to break away 15 km's from the end because we really need the overall win in this tour , It's a sponsor goal !

Race Report

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0062.jpg
From the beginning , GreenEdge is on Cav's wheel ...

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0061.jpg
The peleton drives very slow today , Goss has some time to show off he's points jersey.

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0064.jpg
Goss takes both intermediate sprints and he's sure he's going to wear the points jersey again tomorrow.

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0063.jpg
Finally there's a break away , Muravyev tries to break away solo but the peloton chases him and everything comes together with 20 km's to go !

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0065.jpg
This is what we have been planning on , Gerrans break aways solo with 13 km's to go,
will he survive or will the peloton catch him ?....He survives , he finishes solo and has alot of time to celebrate , he's the new leader of the Tour Down Under .

Spoiler
I had a picture of this but somehow It dissapeared ;(

Woooh , I'm still enjoying , the way Simon took that victory , that's something the best guys do so that shows how good Gerrans actually is , alot of people doesn't take him serieus , but I think he proved that he's one hell of a rider ! How we're going to celebrate this ? First of all we're going to wait until the TdU is over and then , if we take the 1st place overall I'm going to take the guys to Spain for 1 week ..This keeps them motivated ! Wink

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/Naamloos-1.jpg

Like you can see , today's stage is pretty hard , we're planning on doing as less work as possible so we can launch Goss in the mass sprint , we're pretty sure that this will end in a mass sprint so Goss is our bet today ..

Race Report

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/1-3.jpg
The legs hasn't been stretched or there's already a big break away , 10 riders try to get away ...

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/2-3.jpg
But they get caught by the peloton that's really going fast !

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/3-3.jpg
There are 2 intermediate sprints today , Goss is the leader on points , followed by Cav , and every intermediate sprint is Cav vs Goss ...

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/4-3.jpg
And the first sprint is for Goss ...Aswell the second .

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/5-3.jpg
in the final of the race , Goss doesn't has a single teammate to help him , they are captured in the big mass , so we go for another tactic , Goss jumps on the wheel of Cav , will this be the good decision ?

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/6-2.jpg
Goss launches himself , 500 metres to go ... will this be he's first victory ?

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/8-2.jpg
Yes it is ! Goss goes like a rocket and takes this stage , when you look at the top 5 , that's some big names so that tells alot about he's shape ..

This time no reaction of one of the teammanagers but something different . As you know or dont know , right now I'm playing on difficulty hard but like you can see it goes pretty easy and I'm thinking about changing my difficulty to extreme . So my question is , what do you guys think about that ? Anyway I'll keep this difficulty until the end of TdU and then I'll change/not change it like you guys want ..

Well, that´s a good win! Don´t know about the difficulty. You´ve got some very good riders in your Down Under squad right now. So if you send one, which is not that good, extreme could be too hard.

Thanks , and yeah I'll see ..Wink

I think leave it at hard until March. That's where real racing begins, and GE don't have the strongest squad.

Very nice reports mate Wink You're improving with your screens and getting the results. God on you Wink
