Lucky escape for Intxausti, and Medvedev wins the stage. Doing the Russian national jersey proud!
Good job he didnt get the race lead though, he'll probably get dropped on the flat stages

You can guarantee that if a stage finishes on a downhill, it will be lame.
Only reason no time lost is for some reason the AI likes bringing it all back together on stages like that. |

That was an incredible report roturn. You had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

So close for Tschopp, would have absolutely loved that stage win, especially in his home tour.

Thanks. I had actually hoped to make a few screens on the last descent but nothing happened. All came together in the sprint unfortunately as this shouldn`t happen...
Good luck for the UPS or Intxausti at least. |

Worst part of PCM11 imo is that the AI has no understanding of flat stages. GC leaders should not be working on the peloton just because one of the favourite sprinters is in that team. Yet it happens time and time again

Well done by Reimer - although not really sure where he came from. He was nowhere to be seen before the results screen. |

Good 2nd by Cabrera, shame he did not have any kick to go for the win. But I do find it silly that they don't even try to go around some times in PCM11.

Abal looking lively but ineffectual.
Bit like me going uphill on a bike. |

Nice effort by Donald.
Not having high GC hopes can also be a good thing after all with my riders always going for breakaways.

Kinda expected Segarra to win this one, but good effort from my team here.
This was exactly why I bought Segarra and Reynes. First time they make it to the line in a breakaway though. I guess they have been sacrificed too much being leadout for the shitty sprinters in my team. This could very well be the major tactics for me next season, as top sprinters rarely work. Unless they are TOP TOP sprinter.
2nd here is good. Let's hope Fothen can climb well also. I kinda need the luck.

Bit miffed Colombia didn't get into that break.
Hopefully, Abal hasn't done himself some damage in the fall. |

I couldn't agree more with that affirmation. And it goes for cobbled specialists too. Instead of going for a rider that would fight to get into the 10 in one of those races, I'd rather go for a mountain domestique or time - trialist.
So for me it's: if I can't have a top sprinter or cobbler, better I don't have one at all. I guess you can see that by looking at my roster anyway

Yeah I'm probably going with that tactics aswell next season. Way too much wasted on riders such as Lavoine. He is cheap, and in general has he done well, but he is blocking chances for my domestiques, and it seems I'm scoring less than teams without sprinters in flat stages, even with him doing alright.
So next season is all for a TOP sprinter, or using 3-400K on good domestiques instead.

Can't see how Pluchkin is going to loose this. Fothen with a rock solid performance, but Pluchkin were simply stronger. Also good racing from especially Denifl, will be interesting to see the battle for the places behind Pluchkin (and most likely Fothen aswell) on the final stages. |

Ouch, that was pretty bad from Gomez Marchante. I'm surprised by leading the team ranking though, that was unexpected.

Popo is clearly strong enough to get on the podium, just isn't lucky enough to get a break and an actual timed gap on following riders. A pity, that's for sure.
