A friend of mine that was a student at FEUP and is now at FEP (best move he ever made) put it best:
"A FEUP tem um centro gravitacional especÃfico... Sempre que vires um aglomerado de mais do que 10 rapazes podes ter a certeza que no meio está uma rapariga... Pode até ser feia... Mas na falta de melhor..."

Translation: "FEUP has a special centre of gravity...Every time you see more than 10 boys together, you can bet there is a girl in the middle of them...she can be ugly...but missing best ones..."

I'll translate it, sorry:
The FEUP has a specific gravitational center ... Whenever you see a cluster of more than 10 boys can be sure that in the middle is a girl ... She may be ugly ... But in the absence of better...

funny? yeah. true? nope.
Try to find one guy in Information Science or one guy in chemical engineering or even in journalism here (all those courses are at my college). It's difficult.
Now try to find a straight guy in any of those courses. Impossible.

Oh well, maybe we should create a "Cafe Rene"-like topic for all this kind of talk? |

I wouldn't do that. If Plakker sees it with the same name, it's his time to kidnap you.

I couldn't find the ã button
Plus I wasn't meaning for it to be your name, I couldn't remember if it was Flavio or João so I chose the oneI didn't think it was, and failed
You can call it Cafe Flavio then
EDIT: The only Portuguese sounding names I know are the guys in the Portuguese national football team (Moutinho, Conceição, Ronaldo, etc)
and I know Pedro

I noticed it was Flávio when I was searching how to spell Conceição correctly, and hoped you would miss it I'm glad there aren't any names with accents on in England
The final decision is now Café Pedro
I even remembered to put the é this time
EDIT: oh god your name is João Flávio (some name beginning with N) C*****o isn't it? How unlucky was that for me
I had a 2 in 3 chance of getting flamed for my knowledge on Portuguese names
