So Sky didn't fuck up (not enough at least). That was all the possible 'fun' in this stage. Bring on the hills please.

I suppose Griepel's 1 in 20 against Cav has to come somewhere....
....but not today |

As expected Greipel and Goss both confirmed on Twitter they were caught in the crash. Both must have been caught mid pack a bit late in the day. As mentioned above very possibly as a result of an Astana rider (Tiralongo?) failing to move aside when caught by the bunch
Gasparotto that was.

Ahh thank you was going on Eurosport commentary and Cycling News report both of which tend to pick out the most likely attacker from a team as opposed to who it actually was. Tbh don't envy people having to identify riders in identical kit with helmets and dark sunglasses on from a helicoptor shot!
To be fair, after watching it again, there wasn't a huge amount of room for either of them to move aside into when caught. Perhaps just bad luck they got picked up as the road narrowed more than anything else.

Good win from EBH.. Seems like he and Sagan are classic finishers without trains. |

Great sprint by EBH. Didn't think he had the speed to beat Greipel in a flat sprint.

Slight complication I didn't realise until the finish was the cobbles - that could explain a few things with the result. Though clearly EBH and Sagan are going well atm no matter the surface. |

Nice win by Hagen, hopefully his form is building nice to Milan - Sanremo. And great work from Hayman, he guided Hagen perfectly. |

Only the saw the usual group hugs bit difficult to tell through all the bodies on the finish line though. Twitter has a standard congrats to EBH too. What did you see? |

Looked like Cavendish shouted something to EBH and then chased after another guy...The norwegian commentator mentioned it to,and i just saw it mentioned at another cycling forum aswell. But apparently EBH got the message with 6k to go that Cav wasnt feeling well, and that he would be Skys man today,so i cant see why Cav would be angry. Napolitano and Bozic definetly not the best of friends after the finish though |

Given the swift congratulatory tweets, the cobbled finish amd the fact he was never anywhere near the front would imagine Cavendish was angry at someone other than his team but will be interesting to see if it comes out in the wash. A few riders unhappy about something it seems.
