That result caught my eye as well. That has to be a typo, right?

I doubt it, Gilbert can win Vuelta with :
1) Decent Shape
2) 'Shite' competition
3) PCM Gameplay / Simulation
Nice overview, now just waiting for the DB for this great story to start ( it's kinda funny to say that when I actually am working on the DB )

@ Roturn- Yeah, he did win it! I was shocked too, but Valverde and Cunego have been stealing his Hilly races wins, so he decided to get a GT.
@ Teddy- Thanks a lot, glad you like it. Took me an hour to get the template done. LL Sanchez has grown to a very good GT rider actually. 80 Mountain and I think 82 Hill. Plus his TT stats are great.
@ Pelli- Yes, some simulations have been weird, but not all that bad. And thank you!
@ Sutty- Thanks a lot. As I told Teddy, it took me a while to make, (and I still need to alter it a bit, to make it look better etc.) but I'm glad you like it.
@ Mresuperstar- It is not a typo. He indeed won the Vuelta. He took a couple wins, and his margin of victory wasn't too large, so I dont suspect it was a breakaway win either. (Even though, I am susceptible to typo's all the time )
@ Alakagom- Exactly! I have a hunch, he was peaking for the race all season, as he doesn't really have any significant results, and all the other GC riders had ridden at least 1 GT previously, so they may have been out of shape. Almost nobody ever peaks for the Vuelta because the Tour is right before, in PCM.
And thanks. Very ironic indeed.
How much longer do you think? Or is that classified information?

Gilbert >>>>>>>> rest
Am I allowed to say this in this story?

Can't really say much, it's Crue decision when to release it. Lately I've done new palmares ( Nats Champs ) and I am in process of updating stats which will be finished by Sunday. Crue will also try to get as much new equipment and races in the DB to have a good ''2012'' DB. I'll give you more info over the weekend about the release

November 22nd, 2013
Hey everyone! I haven't updated this blog, in quite a while, but I thought I'd start updating it again, now that my injury has healed, and I can start riding again. The biggest news I have to break, is about my contract.
Obviously my season, wasn't too memorable, but I still think my riding should warrant a pretty good contract. However I have some bad news, if you like Team Sky. Back in July I was told by Sky that I wouldn't be renewed with them. They decided it would be best for me if I was released early on, so that I have a better chance of finding a team before the start of the next season, a very classy move on their part, which shows they still care for me.
I'm just finalizing my contract with that new team as I write this, but I am not allowed to say who just yet, but I can tell you, I will play a more prominent role in the team.
For the off-season, I plan on training in Quebec near my home, and visiting with family. Then, I will travel to Hawaii, and train with Ryder, and a bunch of his buddies. I might see Barry there, and it should be a fun time, riding with friends. When I return from Hawaii, I will meet up with my coach and do some more training to really prepare for the season.
Just wanted to keep everyone updated, thanks everyone for the support, and I hope I can keep you cheering in the new season.
-David

Has to be SpiderTech. Or I'll be very disappointed.

Really? Spidertech? He'd be the best on the team by far wouldn't he?

So now that Spidertech has been throw around a little bit, I can tell you that
Spoiler I wont be telling which team he goes to yet
So now that thats out of the air:
@ baia- Feel free to guess, as much as you like
@ Teddy- Amen I'm hoping it will be ready in about 2 weeks, as the Beta isn't actually out yet.
@ Pelli- You may be disappointed then.....
@ Cunego- Glad you're excited I'll try and make the announcement either today or tomorrow so I can start working on the team themed/ graphics for my reserves
@ Teddy- I cant really say, but I think in my career, they signed a couple good riders and Boily has grown into a really good puncheur.
@ olabj- Really, not Spidertech?
@ Mresuperstar- Thanks a lot, I'm not a huge fan of it, so I may change it later, but I'm glad you like it
@ baia- That would be an amazing dream come true.......

No, that's to boring, besides it's atleast two steps backwards and you don't need that. Eventhough I would like nothing more as I loved your Spidertech story

Maybe back to Europcar? They do have a nice jersey this year. Or Garmin with Ryder?
