I won't complain, I think they found their form to soon, but maybe there's someone left who can boost and win.
Let's just hope that. It was fun to lead, but maybe it was someone elses turn to shine. |

Volta a la Communitat Valenciana: Nocentini took stage 1, Astarloa stage 2 and in stage 3 Euskaltel-Euskadi finally scored some team points as Isasi took the stage, they also had Landaluze leading overall. The crucial stage came and the in-form rider Francisco Mancebo won from Sanchez and Boogerd. Oscar Freire took stage 5. Mancebo took the overall from Sanchez but it was Sanchez who scored the most points from the race. Wildcat000 took victory largly thanks to Boogerd and Sanchez.
BP: Wildcat000 - 90 pts
1 Frink RSA 583
Gent - Lokeren: Many high-profile crashes forced the withdrawal of riders including Tom Boonen and Juan Antonio Flecha. There were 2 big injuries for 83 cobbles riders though Fabian Cancellara is set to be out til the end of March and Hincapie won't be back til the start of April, they could both be back intime for Roubaix though, which is on April 9th. The race itself was won by Magnus Backstedt, ahead of Stefano Zanini and Leon Van Bon. Discovery Channel took the team classification as they finally got some points. Backstedt, Gusev and Gilbert took victory for Panaflex.
BP: Panaflex - 43 pts
1 Frink RSA 594
GP Chiasso Johann Tschopp (Bouygues) took victory, Cunego was forced to withdraw but he was not injured. The only points came for Quick Steps' 5th in the teams.
BP: Doddy13/Addy291/Dejacobs - 1 pt
1 Frink RSA 594
Tour of California: All 8 riders that scored points at California had not scored any points at all previously in the season. Zabriskie took the prologue and the second time trial. Schumacher and Baumann also took 2 stages with the other 2 going to Wegmann and Haynes. The two time trials were crucial though and led Zabriskie to overall triumph ahead of Stefan Schumacher. Voigt took 3rd and Schleck made his debut with 7th overall. Amazingly 5 people all had picked Schumacher, Voigt and Schleck and they took some good points, but would it be a 5 way tie? No, only 5 of them picked Markus Fothen (15 Overall, 4th Youth), it went all the way down to the end Bodrogi had 6 pts, Gerdemann 5, 1 of the 3 had bodrogi, 1 had gerdemann and 1 had neither. SO for just this once ill list the top 3.
BP: Panaflex - 144 pts; Crommy - 143 pts; SportingNonsense - 138 pts
Frink RSA only took 30 pts from the tour so...
1 Panaflex 662 |

Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne: Peter van Petegem took a solo victory at Kuurne, finishing a minute ahead of Pozzato, Mattan, Flecha, Klier and Hoste. McEwenFan won this one as he had 4 of the top 6.
BP: RobbieMcewenFan - 45 pts
1 Panaflex 688
GP di Lugano: Tonti took the win for Quick step winning the 3 man sprint ahead of David Moncoutie. Both doddy and mcewenfan picked Moncoutie but Quick Step's 2nd gave Doddy the win.
BP: Doddy13 - 31 pts
1 Panaflex 688
February Ranks
As february began SidGarcia led til about halfway through when Frink RSA took over having steadily scored more then Sid. Frink and Sid were 1st and 2nd for the duration of the month until a dramatic Tour of California brought big changes. Panaflex stormed through from 4th to take the lead, Frink just held on to 2nd but dropped to 3rd after Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne as 2nd - 5th are very tight.

Dtrong results for Wesemann in Langkawi and ALgarve helped him to share the overall lead with the unwanted Thor Hushovd who had a penomenal Langkawi. 2 Overall wins have placed Mancebo 2nd as amazingly 2 of the top 3 ride for continental sides. Van Petegem had a few strong races which took him to 4th while Boonen is 5th having only participated in the Mediterranean this month. Victory in Andalucia means Oscar Freire takes 6th, marginally ahead of Schumacher, Gilbert and Boogerd. As you will have noticed 3 of the 83 sprinters are in the top 6, McEwen the 4th 83 sprinter is down in 45th.

Bennati won GP Costa del Etruschi and Bettini won Trofeo Laueguelia. You also had Schumacher whos topscored in california. So you have had a few wins but you are definately consistent since youre just 8 pts behind 2nd. |

Paris-Nice
Igor Astarloa grabbed overall victory for Milram following 2 stage wins. Boonen and Pozzato also won 2 stages, with Schumacher and Zabriskie winning the other 2. There was mega-points all round, and despite being the only one to pick 135 point Astarloa, McEwen fan struggled as Panaflex overwhelmed the rest, picking Sanchez, Pozzatto, Schumacher and Sinkewitz, the rest of the top 5. Panaflex top scored with 337, and the only other person above 300 was SportingNonsense, who also picked Sanchez, Schumacher and Pozzato. Crommy was again bottom taking just 126 pts.
BP: Panaflex: 337 pts
1 Panaflex 1032
Thats right Panflex has reached 1k! |

Sounds good. But let's face it - I didn't always pick the best riders but rather the ones I like.
Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.Lance

As im sure most people did, besides many of the riders have fairly equal stats so that doesn't make too much of a difference. |

GP di Lucca
Chicchi took victory, Mattan took 7th to give McEwenFan the win.
BP: RobbieMcEwenFan - 6 pts
1 Panaflex 1035
Tirreno - Adriatico
Round 2 of the ProTour was won by Luxembourgian Frank Schleck, to go with 2 stage wins that he won along the way. Petacchi and Freire were among the other stage winners. Phillipe Gilbert was 2nd overall, and Boogerd was 4th. 35 different rides scored points, 30 of which have been selected so Tirreno brought the most points from a race so far - 5 people scored 300 or above.
BP: Dejacobs - 366 pts
1 Panaflex 1350
Nokere - Koerse
Steels took victory from Wesemann.
BP: RobbieMcEwenFan - 20
1 Panaflex 1350
Milan San Remo
Tom Boonen won San Remo ahead of teammate De Jongh and Thor Hushovd. Could this be the first of many for Boonen? I hope not . Addy and Sid had the strongest teams but Addy's was slightly stronger. Meanwhile Panaflex is overtaken.
BP - Addy 94
1 Dejacobs 1404
Gp de Cholet
Won by Florent Brard. The only points came from teams, so SidGarcia narrowly pipped Panaflex.
BP: SidGarcia - 4
1 Dejacobs 1404
Vuelta a Castilla y Leon
Landaluze took the overall honours, 16 seconds ahead of Jose Ivan Gutierrez. Mayo and Valverde both took stage wins. The other rider to score points was Janez Brajkovic. Mayo and Gutierrez, the 2 top scorers provided for doddy.
BP: Doddy13 - 89
1 Dejacobs 1451
GP Waregem
Pozzato and Hammond went clear in the cobbled race and Pozzato won the sprint. Van Bon was 3rd, 3 minutes down. Tom Boonen was one of many that failed to finish. A combination of Pozzato, Hammond and Knaven gave Addy the win.
BP: Addy291 - 37
