Amazing performance(s) from Bellis, and now he've got Dowsett as a good 2nd, completely dominating the race. And that must have been an awful stage for Smowz and Jayco - Red Bull, suddenly the've only Gerrans in top 10. Looking forward to the final stage, should be a good one seeing the profile

Bad prediction SN: "while Trilux may not be doing much other than making up the numbers"
Anyway, there´s still one day left. One day to steal as many possible wins from Rapha as possible.

On the plus: Five riders inside the top 20 and if any one of those gets into a break there is a fair chance for a guy into the top ten. The parcours look like ones that will make chasing difficult as well.
One the negative: The last stage should come down to the favourites with RC looking so strong and therefore Red Bull are frozen out of the top positions.
We shall see!

Not too shabby from Bosisio. Must have been having a +5 day.
Still pity he couldn't have nabbed 3rd on the stage and an even higher GC position. |

Very pleased with a 5th overall from Costa, and even more happy to just see a man-game report.

Good result for Cal Giant. Disapointed we couldn't get a stage win. Bellis is a total dick

That's called domination. Really impressive race by Rapha and Bellis.

Great report from a great stage. With the early selection and lots of attacks, I thought the overall win might slip away from Bellis. But he definitely proved me wrong, and with the great chase from Dowsett it was always going to be his fourth win.
Congratulations to Bellis and Rapha Condor - Qhubeka, if they weren't in pole position for the overall crown before, they definitely are now!

I think this result proves more than any other that SN is better than Waghlon

Didin't we know that already mb2612?
Anyway, I can live with a 4th from Flügel, had hoped for a podium, but he tried everything he could and I can't demand more, too bad there had to be a section of flat before the finish line, seems like this downhilling ability is giving him an edge when the road is falling

Could become a 4/4 for Bellis.
Perfect race by Bellis and Rapha.
No chance for anybody else to beat.
Pure domination. |

Boooooooooring
Instead of waiting so long to post stage four you could have taken the results of stage two. Same winner but much better results for my team...

Well despite not really being able to mix it with the big boys, did at least manage to snatch the team prize off the all conquering African super heroes.
My quick crude calculations have Jayco snatching a half decent 100 or so points from this four day expedition. That coupled with a good Langkawi should keep the Red Bull machine flying on wings quite nicely .
So worst transfer of the season swapping Bellis for inconsistent Cavendish anyone?

Might be, might be. Then again, we still haven't seen Vantomme (or have we?) race, considering his wage I feel he's still in the competition for the worst move ;-) (Sorry Roturn)
Imo we should have a thread where poeple can suggest best/worst signings etc after the season, just for fun.

Totally against this thread.
I am too much afraid that I will win the worst move competiton then after missing to send Vantomme to the first 3 sprinter classics as I expected them to be hillier except of Down Under Classic. My fault, but pretty sure he will take some big wins this season, more likely in the late season as his first races aren`t that suitable.
On the good site, I am probably still a team with quite less race days, but still some nice unexpected results, so I really hope to come later on in the season, when Vantomme (0) and Boom (5 race days) really start to race.
