Iirc, it's 65536*IDsponsor+budget/1000. Try out with that and tell if that works.
I just got a bug where my budget from one sponsor is 0 and im trying to change it with the lachi editor. I've used the formula and put in the numbers but it's not working and my budget is still the same. Im only getting the budget from one of my sponsors instead of both. Anyone know how to fix this? I have switched the values in dyn_sponsor and dyn_team.

Well first of all make sure you are editing your savegame rather than the default database. Then:
-- If it still isn't working try and edit it with the 'fast editor', has always worked for me.
I actually just got it to work. I made a big mistake and I was editing the last quicksave instead of the actual career file. Changed the numbers in the career file and got it to work. Thanks for the response anyway. Finally got my career back on track and hopefully I can get my balance on the positve side soon so I can keep my best riders after 3 years. Hurt my team badly when I lost my 78 overall star that was good at basically everything. Those 2000 euro contracts aint keeping anyone around. ^^
