Thanks for the congrats guys.
First win of the season and once again the Tour Down Under is proving a happy hunting ground. Great to see Mori and Impey finishing high up also, its looking a really tight battle at the top.
Willunga now may seem the key stage though I wonder whether a breakaway may be given the chance on stage 4? I am not sure Bianchi are a seriously strong team who are likely to pull to keep Ciolek in yellow as if he can win the stage who knows for GC!
Lovin the win

Nice finish
I'm impressed by Visconti, gives a bit of expectations for stage 5.
Why are my riders wearing last years jersey, though? Is this the same for everybody? |

1. You havent sent me any graphics files
2. No jersey in your Team HQ
3. Somebody else must have accepted your new jersey to the Shirts DB, I was not aware you even had one til now!

Wow I was shocked by all the attacks in this stage. Its also really weird that one of my sprinters is going for the KoM but hey, I'll take that, atleast now we're getting some points.
And great win by Gerrans. Hopefully next stage will go to another Aussie, this time riding for Meiji.

Does anyone else feel a nausea at the sight of this?

Wait until Sella grabs the pink jersey at the Giro or even worse perhaps Valverde in the Orange at the Vuelta?
Thats why we are all desperate for someone else to win those races

Yeah... I immediately thought, why the hell did anyone sign for this team in the knowledge of the jersey.
Probably the reason, why Cavendish doesn`t look very happy here.

Something just crossed my mind:
I think PCM has a quite messed up way to calculate the team standings in stage races without time differences (if it has any at all, correct me if I'm wrong here).
As team GC gives ranking points, I'd like to re-calculate it after the race if there are still no time differences. I'd just add stage rankings together like it is done with the individual GC.

Youre right, in the past it has always got that wrong, guess that has continued.
If someone is willing to count up all the positions for every race where it is needed, that would be very helpful - so yes, be great if you could do that here.

I'd do that (for every stage race, if necessary).
I don't have to question the daily rankings, right?

Nope, only points at the finish. Top 3 teams gain points in C1 races like TDU

Sure, what I meant was whether the stage rankings are messed up as well. But I guess they're right.

If you mean the stage teams classification, then Im not sure that it is right? It may be fairly accurate, but I wouldnt trust it

I just went through 3 stages, the daily classification is absolutely correct.

For stages 2 through to 4, I made the team overall countbacks like this.
Jayco Red Bull | 144 | Hollister | 146 | Puma | 152 | Bianchi | 185 | Venchi | 189 | Meiji | 203 | Proximus | 221 | Koppert | 237 | Oz Cycling | 248 | Cyclevox | 252 | Focussed | 264 | Unicredit | 279 | Saab | 345 | Emu Export | 478 |
Though it is possible of course that the teams classification could be split by time on stage 5 with Old Willunga!

You calculated it on daily individual rankings?
I did it with daily team rankings, which led me to
Bianchi
Jayco Red Bull
Puma
Hollister
Koppert
Venchi
Oz
Meiji
UniCredit
Proximus
Cyclevox
Saab
Focused
Emu Export
Which one should we apply?
EDIT:
As stage 1 results are incomplete, it would be easier to use the team classification (at least in this race) as there are only 3 teams missing on the pic which doesn't change the top 3 overall.
Or we calculate the stage 1 result from all the guys without time bonuses by comparing the individual result from stage 2 with the GC from stage 2. Would be quite a lot of work then)
