Well, they have a good depth at WR with Boldin especially, but I'm still not convinces about there TE's. I'm not sure that dickson and Pitta are receivers, but more the blocking type. They will definitely need the D and Rice to step iit up if they want another successful season.
I think dickerson is a decent receiver because i remember watching a game where oregon played usc and dickerson had some key catches.
Your right. I actually edited my post because I remembered Dikerson had over 1000 yards receiving at Oregan. I still don't want to see Heap leave though.

can we already say that last year champ won't win this year. What is wrong with American sport anyway? Almost impossible to predict winners..hugh success team can struggle just year after win. |

McNabb->Vikings
Tavaris Jackson->Seahawks
Hasselbeck->Titans
Kolb->Cardinals (most likely)

I feel like if any team that had a losing record could have a strong turn around it would be the lions, as long as their secondary doesn't get beat on every play. |

If were talking about teams with losing records I think the Seahawks will do well.
And unfortunately for us Rams fans the Seahawks also added Sidney Rice. So pretty much everyone in the division is stocking up but the Rams.
BTW Craig Dahl better step up.

but the seahawks now have tavaris jackson and that dude is not a good qb. if the rams get mark clayton back and a decent receiver in fa they could challenge the seahawks |

Tavaris Jackson is good. Very under-rated, and when he was with the Vikings before, he was too in-experienced. I watched him play last year, and probably thanks to Favre he's grown into quite a good mobile quarterback. I'm not saying he's great but I think he'll put up better numbers than Hasselbeck put up last year, and that seemed to be enough to beat the Saints

i remember Joe Webb playing better QB when backing up Favre then Jackson. |

I dont. I think Tavaris played better, until he suffered his turf toe injury. Joe Webb is really good though, and will one day be better than Tavaris for sure, but for now Webb is more of a runner/3rd and short QB rather than a starter.

Yea Webb probably won't see the field this season. I thought that the Seahawks might go after Matt Leinart but I saw that hes not going there. I mean maybe Jackson will be a surprise this season and lead the Seahawks to the playoffs. Who knows |

Wow its been a while but now that football is back, i'm back aswell
Seahawks are doing fine thus far, O-Line was a major concern, by drafting Moffit and Carpenter and getting Robert Gallery from the Raiders they already have filled some holes there and with Okung already there it looks better than last year, Unger will probably be the center is my guess.
This should also help Lynch and Forsett and Lynch now has to prove he can be the franchise RB, meanwhile with the addition of Rice we now have him alongside the big man Mike Williams and we have some young talented receivers with Butler and Tate.
Only problem is the QB position, both Whitehurst and Jackson aren't the answers I think. But they both have 1 season to prove me and others wrong. Whitehurst did get us the win vs. St. Louis but has never been a regular starter. Jackson has made some starts, he is very mobile but is accuracy is below average but atleast they have someone to compete with Whitehurst. And if it doesn't work out then they have to find a real answer next year in FA or the draft cause with Bradford in St. Louis and Kolb going to Arizona the Seahawks can't stay behind.
At last as Carroll said it will take him 3 years to rebuild this team the way he wants to, right now the focus is on offense and the defense will probably be altered next year I guess as they did pretty much nothing to improve it.

I think that if the deal with the Patriots and Redskins about Albert Haynesworth goes through no one will be able to run through the middle on the Patriots. |

The deal just went through for a 5th round pick. If hes plays like the contract he earns, the Pats will have a rock solid D-line.

Its good its only for a 5th round pick because if he doesnt work out and plays how he played in washington they wont lose much |

Reggie Bush is taking his "talent" to South Beach!
I dont completely understand this move since Miami already has Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, so there will be a lot less runs for both of them now.
Also update on the Kolb trade, the Eagles get in return Dom Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2nd Round pick, so really a great deal for the Eagles.

Ah well Bush isn't such a good runner anyways, he will be used as a returner and as an extra weapon in the passing game as a mismatch as he is probably one of the best pass catching RB's in the league. Also both Brown and Williams have had their share of injury troubles in the past I believe so a bit of extra depth there won't hurt them. Nevertheless they'll still stand no chance with Henne as a QB and even if Orton comes they will be miles behind the Jets and Patriots. Atleast they'll get 2 wins vs Buffalo who will probably be dreadful again.
And a great trade there for both sides, Arizona gets its starting QB while Philly now has a DB tandem Samuel-Rodgers Cromartie, that will certainly help them to win the division.

Brown and Williams are free agents so I guess they aren't going to bring one or both of them back. And with Philly picking up Rodgers-Cromartie makes me think they won't go after Nnamdi Asomugha
