Blisters... Hate those bloody footy scars! New boots - you said it.
Well, 4-0 is bein hammered, but it seems as if you played a team a class above the rest.

Looks to be another difficult one on Wednesday!

ok so the friendly on Wednesday night went well, Poppelton have won every trophy for the past 3 years

9 trophies in 3 years, 1 league and 2 cups, and we only lost 3-0 anyway...

1st game of the season today against Copmanthorpe we won 4-1B)B)

it was a very aggressive game in which if it was proffessional a few people could've been sent off, but we won so we didn't really carePfft

don't worry this won't happen every week, i just couldn't resistGrin

just got back from our cup match against Selby, known for being dirty bastardsWink

there were a total of 4 yellow cards, all to selby, 1 for a bad tackle, 1 for saying to the ref that he was shit, and 2 for kicking the ball awayGrin

it was 3-3 at the end of the game, but as it was a cup match it went to extra time. At the end of the first period it was still 3-3, so we were all set for pens as we'd already worked out a tactical switch to bring our penalty man on. but with 2mins gone we scored, 4-3GrinGrinGrin

then a beautiful strike from their right winger leveled it at 4-4, 3 minutes later. We had now made our final tactical switch, with around 4 minutes left, we get a corner, a flick on at the near post by our best player, Liam and it fell to Ally, our left mid, he headed it home and we won 5-4GrinGrinGrin

probably the most exciting match i have ever played inSmile
