Reminds me of stage 14 in last year's Giro.
Nibali won, favorites not saving any energy although stage 15 the next day was Zoncolan. Hoping for something like that too, today.

Giro isn't Tour, so either break or sprinters for today.

According to the live coverage at the TdF site, Klöden is in serious difficulties to stay in the peloton... |

I fear so. But hey, here's hoping for an interesting stage, GC-wise. |

Hmm, so they dont think he will survive or catch up with the peleton if he stays their over the climb then.. Interesting.

That was the tactic as Sky thinks the break stays away and there's no point waiting in peleton, as the chance of vicotry might be gone.

Exactly what I just wanted to post. I have seen that he was just 3min back.
Now he has 7min advance. I really hope he will bring it to Paris after 21 days of being last. Hopefully the work for Voeckler now won`t let him fall out of the time limit later.
@ Doddy: Quite sure there will be 3-4 sprinters today in the end. No Cav or Greipel of course, but as written earlier Hushovd, Rojas or Hagen could have a chance with the long descent. Last year Hushovd, Rojas and Ciolek also survived the mountains on the 16th?? stage. Not impossible.

Well yeah, but everything is relative on how much the schlecks/other favs. want to try Conta's legs. If they go hard up the climb to test him. The break wont last until the finish, seeing as someone in the peleton can go for the victory. But a break today seems to be the best bet.

Not sure if he finishes todays stage. Still behind the peloton with problems. Let`s wait for the mountain what happens to riders like him or Gesink.
@ Isaichev is working hard for the red lantern. Already not able to follow!!!
