Greipel tried to take on Cav and ended up finishing in front of Gilbert, and behind both Cavendish and Rojas

I did have a tab with the video feed open, but unfortunately missed it. Gilbert can't have been too pleased about that

Well, Gilbert was on Rojas' wheel but then lost it - either not good enough or decided against it. Greipel was looking around on the line, wondering why Gilbert wasnt up there anymore.
I guess Gilbert though the idea was for Greipel to win, which he didnt do. (And which wouldnt really have helped much anyway - they needed Gilbert to beat Greipel and them both to beat Cav/Rojas for that plan to work)

There was Didi for a few seconds

The final couple kilometres are pretty straight - except the barriers in the final few hundred metres seem quite wavy and twisty - that could be a bit stupid considering it is going to be a bunch sprint.

The break are fighting hard, Lampre needed to help because HTC were running out of men and still not closing it enough.
