TOUR DOWN UNDER - STAGE 3
Todays stage is considered a mountain stage and it has 1 mountain sprint along with 2 sprints.
Todays race is a distance of 129 km as the leader starting today is Jose Joaquin Rojas.
The first attacks began very quickly 2km into the race. For the first time all race long, Team M&M's decides to attack a rider and its M. Barry.
Meanwhile the break was not fully settles as they raced to sprint 1.
Sprint 1 - 98km to go

As the race approaches the 78 km to go mark, a break finally settles at 10 riders.

As the race got to the 77 km mark, Team Movistar began moving to the front for Rojas as the pack began to spread out.
Alot of attacks occurred within the breakaway with only 10 km to go until the final sprint of the day. However 5 riders were left to battle it out.
Sprint 2 - 57km to go

The race then got to 56km to go and 5 leaders were leading the race. The other 5 in the previous lead pack are now chasing the leaders and are 1 minute behind. The peloton is 4:16 behind Chase 1 and 6 riders have managed to fall off the back and are 2:35 behind the peloton.
The battle was now on to the only Mountain sprint of the day and by the time the leaders got there Chase 1 managed to make the leaders a 10 rider group again. M. Barry of Team M&M's went to the front of the lead pack with no counter attack by any other riders as they rode across the line in a single line.
Mountain Sprint 1 - 40km to go

At 39km to go the leaders have a 4:25 advantage on the peloton which saw its only crash of the day at this time when Team Katusha's E. Vorganov crashed and fell off the pace. 4 other Katusha riders fell back to pace with him.
At the 30km to go mark the leaders maintain a 3:10 lead.
With 25km to go the peloton begins to speed up and a 2:30 lead in all the leaders have.
The race is down to only 10km to go now and the leaders have a 1:20 lead. The leaders see one last chance to attack and M.Barry launches an attack but it doesnt last long. They managed to get a 1:30 advantage with 8km to go but that was all they got.
In the peloton Chris Horner of Team M&M's sees an opportunity to catch the leaders and launches an attack. Alot of riders follow and now the peloton has captured the leaders and is very spread apart.
The race is down to the final kilometer and it looks very good for Chris Horner to get a stage win. 2 Riders are closing the gap very very fast but they end up with a 2,3 finish and Chris Horner grabs Team M&M's first stage win ever.
Lance Armstrong finishes 9th place and riders of Team M&M's failing to keep up with the peloton include D. Westcott, K. Lacombe & K. Wood.
Chris Horner will wear the leaders jersey tomorrow and this is the jersey that will be worn.
Team M&M's is also now the best team of the race.

I must say, beside that i have been bragging a lot about your story(ies) that your jerseys looks really nice! And good that you lowered armstrong stats. Even in his glory days he shouldn´t have more than 72 in sprint. Now it´s more real

TOUR DOWN UNDER - STAGE 4
Todays stage is mostly flat with a climb at the start with 1 mountain sprint followed by 2 sprints.
Chris Horner is the leader from Team M&M's and starts out today towards the back.
The action begins just 5km into the race as attacks begin for the only Mountain Sprint of the day. 2 of the 3 people tied for the lead are in the attack as current jersey wearer M. Tosatto from Team Saxobank and M. Barry from Team M&M's attack.
Plenty of attacks are occurring with just 13km to go until Mountain Sprint 1. 12 riders have pulled away from the peloton.
Coming to the sprint line only 5 people are in contention but only 3 riders will grab points.
Mountain Sprint 1 - 96km to go

Barry did not win the sprint but he got 3rd and picked up enough points to wear the Mountain Jersey heading into tomorrow. He will now abandon the leaders and join the peloton.
The leaders now battle for the first sprint of the day just 8km after the mountain sprint.

Meanwhile, back in the peloton, T. Vaitkus of Team Astana crashes for the second time today!
Also in the peloton, M. Barry now protects Chris Horner in the front of the pack.
11 men are in the breakaway and have a 4:45 lead over the peloton with 76km to go.

With 50km to go Team Movistar begins moving up to the lead of the peloton to possible get Rojas in position to win.
The lead was now beginning decrease as with 45km to go the lead is down to 4:00 and with 28km to go its a 2:20 lead.
The peloton has now significantly increased its speed with 20km to go.
A 1:30 lead remains with 15km to go however when the race got down to 12km to go the lead went back up to 2:19.
Lance Armstrong needs to make sure that M&M's keeps control of the race and attacks with 10km to go. M. Hayman of SKY follows.
With 7km to go, Lance is 57 seconds behind the leaders.
Hayman is 34 seconds behind Armstrong.
The peloton is 15 seconds behind Hayman.
With only 4km to go the peloton remains 1:05 behind the leaders and will not catch up. C. Horner attacks with his jersey on the line.
The 12 leaders sprint immensely with only 2km to go. Meanwhile the peloton charges to get the gap to 45 seconds and catches Horner back in.
The charge to the line brings a win to M. Iglinskiy!
L. Armstrong takes over the leaders jersey and M. Barry will control the Mountain Jersey! A big success so far for Team M&M's! They are also the team of the race!

Todays stage consists of a circuits. The first part is very flat with 2 sprints and the second part consists of two steep mountain sprints followed by the finish. The temperature is 32 degrees Celsius or 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Attacks begin from the very start of the race when a ton of riders attack and then gradually get caught in the first 5km. M. Barry of Team M&M's will try to maintain the Mountain Jersey today. Lance Armstrong will also try to maintain his jersey.

A massive crash has just happened at the rear of the peloton and sadly the only M&M rider involved was M. Barry who was recently captured by the peloton.
The break is all spread out into 5 sections now with 3 riders leading the peloton by 1:30. Lance Armstrong attacks to try to save his chances and Chris Horner as well as a bunch of other riders follow closely including Rojas.
The break is going to last today as 2 riders battle to the line with the peloton storming back. Team Katusha picks up its first win of the season with a close win! What a finish!
But Wait! Another crash inside the pack that wrecked the first time. M. Barry again wrecks finishing a very bad day and failed attempt to keep the Mountain jersey.
Despite the disappointing day Team M&M's is still the leading team and has Lance Armstrong in the leaders jersey.

After two overpowered teams you've got a nice team which will allow you some good results in stage races i guess. Since my last career on PCM 2010 was with Team Radioshack i will follow this to see what you can do with this similar squad since I wasn't very successful. |

Poor M. Barry, had a tough day to try to get the mountain points, only to end the day on the ground twice.
On a side note, is that a download to edit jerseys, or is that an in-game feature (I don't own the game yet, so I was just figuring things out)? |

The first stage consists of a circuit. 7 laps around the circuit with 2 of the laps having a mountain sprint & points sprint.
Attacks begin from the very start of the race and Team M&M's attacks young rider Chad Beyer. Plenty of other riders also are trying to join the break but with 66km to go there are 14 leaders leading the race.

With 46km to go, inside the peloton, the first wreck of the race occurs as M. Schmitt of UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling crashes.

With 12km to go, Beyer is caught by the peloton while the 4 leaders lead by 28 seconds. A Massive crash has occurred in the peloton and unfortunately 1 M&M's rider was involved and that was Svein Tuft.
The race is coming to its conclusion and Skil - Shimano charges to the front and picks up the pace to catch the leaders at 5km to go.
A massive sprint erupts now as the peloton catches the leaders and coming to the line it is V. Iglinskiy who takes the win.
Team M&M's has earned 1 jersey with Chad Beyer earning the young rider jersey.
Iglinskiy is shown in the paper "dominating the sprint"
