Apparently Evans didn't contest the sprint. I would imagine he can't be bothered but there was a opportunity for free points. His team-mate Moinard got 1 point |

He isn't competing for the points. The risk of crashing is too high and he isn't explosive enough to have gained many points anyway.

What a sadd sadd sadd team, leopard, making pace if gesink has material problems. Last time with contador also. The most unsportive team ever. |

I don't think this time was intentional.
When the road is uphill htc simply stops to make the pace to avoid cav from tiring, and leopard found themselves in front.
even now on the cat4 climb htc retreated and some team were in front unintentionally, not making any pace at all |

True. But the the commentary is so boring and drags on. "here we have the chateau du boring, it was built in 1650 by the emperor of castles, right after the invasion of the evil army of the west who caused a delay to the castles construction. The interior of this caste is very well kept, in fact some furniture remains from the invasion of 1730, today people visit the gardens to see the statue of the unknown soldier of the east, his mother was well known in this particular town, in 1830 her granddaughter invented the wheel..."
Well, that is my recollection of the Australian SBS commentary. I drift in and out though, thank God for PCM to keep me from falling to sleep. |
