Do you advance a day after setting the fitness schedules?
Very good point! I have not advanced a day when making the changes...perhaps that is why it is not writing to the DB....let me try that......VOILA! DOH!
That was all I needed to do was advance the day so that it would actually write the change to my save game DB.
Thank you CT and Lachi for your quick responses! |

If you have problems selecting the schedules in the game, then it is a user issue and not a pointer issue. Please read the manual of the game.
I do not understand what you mean with "they never stay in the database". The schedules should be in the save, not in the DB. Do you know how to check if the schedules have been saved in the DB or save?
You did select them in the game, but then, what do you do?
If you have problems with the DB of pcmdaily, then you need to ask in the other forum.
Everything is solved...they were not written to the save game DB because I had not advanced a day. That was the only issue |

You have now mentioned this in two different threads, yet none of them have anything to do with PCM problems in general.
Make your own thread, or use one that's related to the problem you're experiencing. |

Is there any tutorial about using the stage editor. I have a custom team and i don´t know how to calculate the ideal races for each of them, but the most important problem is how to select training schedules according with the season i´m preparing for them. Soryy i´ve never tried the season planner and i thinks it would be a fantastic tool |

These are the things you should consider before using the Season Planner.
1. Team goals
2. Your main leaders & their goals
3. Your secondary leaders & their goals
4. The rest of the team
After you have that data (may be it's better to write it in a paper), then its much easier to use the tool.
When you are running with a Continental team, you have to ask for wildcards... but you should plan the season in the positive way... hoping that you will ride the races you want... if anything goes wrong... you could add less important races to make your riders win form and race days before important races that you will sure race. |

That is a bug on your Vista. You need this fix from Microsoft: https://archive.ms...m/KB974373
@fenian_1234 and Steels: Please try the attached file. If it does not run faster, then you could install the hotfix from microsoft. This time it should not make the planner crash.
Lachi attached the following file:

First of all, this is a fantastic tool which makes it really easy to create the perfect plan for your riders! Very well done!!
I need some help from you experts though I've used the last couple of hours creating a plan for my first season. I've saved all the plans, exported the cdb, moved the training schedules folder from the season planner to mydocs/Pro cycling manager 2011/users/"my name"/trainingSchedules.
When I go into the game and want to load my new schedules up it won't let me I can't click load...
I re-read your guide and tried placing the files in mydocs/Pro cycling manager 2011/trainingSchedules. But the game still won't let me load the schedules.
This is highly frustrating as this is the first time in nearly 5 years I have time to play PCM and with the release of PCMDaily V1 my fingers are itching to get going!
I'm sure it's just a silly mistake but could somebody please be bother and tell me where I messed up

In the game, first click on the name of your rider, then navigate to the training tab.
There you have to select a custom training plan, CUSTOM_01 and click on the magnifier. Now click on the edit button. There you can load your fitness schedules. |

Tried that! But I can't click the load button... It isn't highlighted!? The only highlighted options are "save" and evaluation"... not "load" and "delete".
Is the path correct? mydocs/PCM11/Users/myname/TrainingSchedules?
EDIT: Just tried creating a new one, but the same result! It remembers which riders I assigned to which races, but I just can't load the fitness schedules...

You have got to be kidding me... After hours trying to figure out why it won't work for me I finally found my error!
I deleted the original folder in the my docs and copy/pasted the folder over from the Season Planner. But the original folder was called FitnessSchedule and the one from the Season Planner is called Fitness Schedules. So I removed the S at the end and TADAAAAAAAAAA!!
So stupid - just thought I would post it here so anyone else doesn't end up wasting thair saturday night with this!! |

The instructions don't mention the deletion of the original folder. Just to copy the files. |

I'm well aware of that, but I thought I would take a little shortcut - look where it got me!
Still thought I would post it in case anyone else tried the same thing! |

I've just tried it out and this version works a treat.
No need to apply the Microsoft hotfix either.
Thank you very much, Lachi. |

Yes, this problem did happen several times over the years but I was not able to find the error until recently. I thought that the error came from me programming but it was a buggy plug-in from a big company I was using.
Now my tool only contains Microsoft components. At least they supply fixes for their bugs. |
