As a guess. any more and the framerate would start taking a hit. A big no no for a cycling game.
Exactly. They had to limit the amount of riders per team to six in order to keep the game smooth. |

Ply your girlfriend with booze and sleeping tablets. She'll either be sick and sleep or, just sleep. The alcohol keeps things interesting. |

Does anyone know when the game will be released in stores? Will it be released in Canada? I don't want to order it online, but I might have to. |

I don't think the game is being released in Canada/US, so it looks like you may have to import
EDIT:

A PSN version for the US will be available sometime during july, depending on when SONY decides to accept the game (is a separate process for Europe and America unfortunately) Sad so i guess you will have to wait. It is not sold on retail on the US.

The good thing about that though is that there are only 3-4 true classification contenders on each team. The rest are domestiques, so in a way thats not the worst thing in the world. The more we get behid this one, the closer we are to a full PCM version on consoles. |

Since you only control 1 rider per stage but still can (and should) tell your teammates what to do that's actually ok. Having 9 riders on your team would almost be too much at times.
Talking about PCM: the cool feature of having your teammate who's supposed to guard you block your way to the front is just as fun on console as on pc. |

The gameplay is amazing, and the game is realistic too. Today I'm going to start a Tour de France with Astana. We will see what it brings. My only painpoint is that it isn't realname and that there is no reason to solve it! |

Well I want the game but I'm double screwed:
I live in the US
AND I don't have a PS3 or XBox 360, only a Wii
Why don't they make good sports games for Wii? The graphics would be bad but I wouldn't care. I'd buy it anyway. It's disapointing

You have a lot more to do when programming a next-gen game and then downgrade it to a gamecube like console
Thats why EA Canada haven't made also Grand Slam Tennis for Wii and the next-gen consoles, they just made it for the Wii and dropped the XBOX 360 and PS3 versions
Now EA Canada does Grand Slam Tennis 2 just for XBOX 360 and PS3, but as the Wii U comes out soon.. Who knows.. GST2 and TdF could be there (if they will continue this series and buy a license for the Nintendo stuff)
