This sponsor system is a complete failure as I see it. I haven't been able to just survive more than 12 months... of course someone should be interested in sponsoring a Pro Tour team with a potential Giro winner, classics winner and a super sprinter. I just don't get it...
Where are you sending the scout? Make sure you send some not just to Italy but Worldwide and Some other places just so you can have a better chance of getting sponsors. Remember you can scout more then one place at once for sponsors. |

i m in the first season with lampre too and i allready found a new sponsor(which even paid a little more then isd) in the first week of the giro using only one international scout in italy and my race results/season goals until then were only average ... so i guess it s simply random like probably in real life |

i am in 2012 and my co-sponsors contract last untill 2011 but my co-sponsor is still there? and it still says that my co-sponsors contract ends in 2011, i still get money and they still have goals for me? this sounds like a bug. btw i signed a new solo sponsor mapei, to begin in 2012 i got andalucia, again bug. |

I am in the third quarter of my second year. My sponsor contract is ending at the end of the year. (Custom Team)
I sent out 1 Regional Sponsor-scout to Sweden, I play a swedish team.
I sent one international to germany.
I heard nothing from my regional scout in Sweden.
Just before TDF I got a sponsor negotiation from germany. BMM (Fictional BMW). They offered 4 millions, I wanted five. They accepted 5 millions but I decided to wait.
I recalled my scout in sweden and hired a legendary one.
BMM lowered their deal as I waited so I pulled the plug.
International scout got S-mobile for me halfway through TDF. They offered too little and I hung up.
At the end or just after TDF my legendary found me IGN in Netherlands who fffered me around 5 millions. I demanded 6 million, they accepted and I just signed a 2 year contract with them.
Sponsor scouts seem to take a while to get started, but once they find the first one they seem to find a second one after a few weeks.
Took 4-5 months to get the first negotiation from when I sent out my international Scout. |

I don't have the savegame anymore as this was just a quick career to see how this works.
Now I did my first season with a career for real and I believe I might have done something wrong that first time.
Whenever you have an agreement on the budget, you have to discuss the lenght of the contract. In this screen you can choose to sign the contract, or you can chose to finish the negotiations.
The first time I chose finish, but apparently, that means you cancel the negotiations.
When you click sign, the tab "search new sponsor" disappears. when the new season started I got my nice new sponsor.
This new sponsor search was kinda strange actually. I made a custom team with only scouted yougsters. (best rider had 62 average at the start of the season) Plying on easy, I was able to pull 2 victory's in prologue and some top-10 in short stage races.
I looked for an international sponsor and a worldwide one (aiming a bit high ,so I tought). In april already, I received an offer from Fartis Banking via my worldwide agent. They offered met 5 mil per year, while my current sponsor wontract was worth only 400k per year. Nice improvement one might say.
I hoped to be able to sign a lot of good riders with this new budget. However my salary budget was only raised from 40k /month to 90K per month. wich means I still have more than 300k per month I receive from my sponsor but I cannot spend on new riders. Let's say my financial troubles are over for the rest of the season.
So in my opinion, it is too easy to find a rich sponsor with a small team. But when you do, you can't really profit from it. |

hey does anyone know how i get the 'sponsor tabs' in the first place? someone said i need to edit something on the database but i dont know what do do. does anyone know how i add them??

Read the manual to see how to get to the different sponsor tabs. These are the sponsor interfaces, maybe you are confused by the word 'tab'?
You really have to tell us what you want to change.

yea i think i am..
i mean like when people go to see sponsor goals, different tabs come up with there sponsor names in there and each sponsor as different goals.
im trying to find a screenshot for you.. :S

I've signed a new sponsor for the next two seasons (Litex) and I've accepted the deal. In my finances the sum that I will get for the next year is there, but the "search for sponsor" tab is still there? I seem to remember from a different save that it dissapeared after you signed a new deal`? |

I have read that people where able to search for further sponsors after they signed the first. The game just takes the last signed sponsor (, so you could search for a better one.) |

here, these are the pictures of the three sponsor tabs.
so in this you see how theres the two other sponsor tabs not just the sponsors tabs. theres also the Senor Frogs tab and the Air Canada tab. Then in the first one the Senor Frogs sponsor has some goals and then in the next image, Air Canada have some different sponsor goals.
do you know how i get this?

I know these tabs. I thought you don't know how to get to them.
But if you are able to make a picture of them, then you can find them, so what is your problem? |

click on manager > select sponsors there you will see main sponsor table with basic info such as budget, confidence for each sponsor and list of 5 goals you have to achieve in the nearest future. Then you can click on name of each sponsor in the top of the table and see detailed information about this sponsor, such as list of all goals and so on. |

yea but when i go onto the manager screen with the sponsors it only has one sponsor thing with is Lamborghini - Monster (my team name) but i want them to be two separate sponsors.
so in that small guide thing did u describe how to do that because i might just be misunderstanding it but if not how do i make it so the sponsors are separate?
