The easiest way is to just replace it with another stage. And when you are done playing it, you change back.

The easiest way is to just replace it with another stage. And when you are done playing it, you change back.
And this is done by renaming both the cds and zces file of oyur created stage into a stage you have in your CM_stages folder. Just backup your first race by renaming it xxxx_b.cds/zces and put in your created stage files. If you select your race in the menu you will see the new profile even though it still has the name of the old race. |

Route --> Sprints
Then you should get a collom on the right. Choose your type of start/finish press "Add" and then place it on the road

Take care that you have 2km before the route starts and 2km after the finish.
You can easily move the first and last waypoint that far that you are 2km further. |

C/Programs/Cyanide/PCM2011 and choose 'CTStageViewer', press 'Open', and find your stage.

Try to change the longitude, latitude values in the beginning.
Sometimes it`s enough to lower or higher the 4. or 5. after comma number.
It`s a little bit tricky, but you might see some results after a while and know how it works. |

Just got it working for Hillis now. You dont normally need to mess around with the numbers, just try a different Longitude/Latitude Min/Max option in the drop down box, then read the GPX bounds again, and usually it will work for at least one of them.

After creating your stage in the editor, you have to save the file and you get a zcts file, just to open with the editor.
Then you go to cities->rebuild all cities.
Then you export the stage (somewhere below save) You always have to rebuild stages first as you just export what you see in the 3d window. If there aren`t visible towns, then they also aren`t there ingame. After exporting you get 2 more files. cds and zces.
These are the files you need in CM_Stages for the game and can also be opened in the Stage Viewer. |

You can also use the spline view directly in the editor : Ctrl+2
I've heard about this option by Cyaboys only two weeks ago and it's very useful to have a better view of the roads especially in mountain |
