Rodriguez and Arroyo attacking.
Nice to see some riders putting on some pressure early on. |

Liquigas is pacing the peloton slow.
Nice to see Rodriguez trying to take advantage of it, but now it seems like Saxo for the first time will do some serious chasing in this Giro. |

Immediately Contador + 2 Saxo come right to the front. This is what they need to do, not do what Liquigas have been doing

He should have not been paid a cent for abysmal efforts

I've been told yesterday that it was logical Nibali rided to keep the gap as small as possible with Anton, and Contador had nothing to do about it since he wasn't in danger.
Today he is in danger, Nieve can take him the maglia rosa, so that Euskaltel would in a position of strength.
So can someone explain me why the hell Liquigas makes once again the pace instead of letting Contador in front of his team weakness?...
I found Liquigas really smart last year, but on this Giro... I really don't understand... |

That is easy to say,but Liquigas is fighting again Rodriguez and Arroyo rather than Conatdor, who is class of his own in this race

He's well past his best, simple as that. It has nothing to do with effort. |
