I bet money on Jedward. Not a whole lot, as I'm waiting with betting the rest until after the semifinal - either they win, or Denmark does
Not exactly sure how this Eurovision thing works but I went to the Google forecast page or whatever and listened to the Top 10, and thought the Top 3 were all alright.
But no offense to Sweden but I hated that song, bad lyrics, bad singing...
Also @ Rin Lady Gaga writes most of her own music fyi, but thats just what I've heard so it may be wrong.
That Google thing fails a lot this year anyway, already. It has Switzerland, Lithuania and Georgia right towards the bottom - all 3 made it through to the final, while it has Norway, Armenia, Portugal and Turkey all in the Top 20 - none of them made it through.
Fails? It's search data. It's not Google's fault that more people searched for Norway rather than Georgia. Plus, Google can't predict the outcome of the expert panel.
Google predicted the winner the past two years. The closer we get to the final, the more reliable it gets. We'll see what it says on Friday or Saturday or whenever the final is
As I said: I played a small amount of money on Jedward yesterday, and I'll then await and see what happens on Friday/Saturday. If there's a country much in front of another, I'll gladly bet again. I won last year, thanks to Google, so why not again this year?
Countries for the Final on saturday have been decided, going to be fairly tough to choose a winner. My favourites tonight were Estonia, really like that song and Ukraine.
Did just listen with one ear, but Romanias song, if I remember right was quite good.
Sweden to the final as the last country, now we atleast are there!
It didn't get much better with that semi. I also liked Estonia and Ukraine, but the standard really makes me feel like the UK stand a chance this year. And I don't mean avoiding finishing last.
Moldova was weird, and deserves to be credited. How Romania and Austria made the final is beyond me...has to be something with the alignment of the planets
Unfortunatley Ireland are through, thanks to Jedward's backing singer's. Estonia's song was very catchy and fun, I though Denmark were good too. But still Lena to win for me
As expected, Google's prediction has changed quite a lot since yesterday (Norway continues to climb up the ladder despite being eliminated ). Armenia is now #1:
Absolutely horrible song
