Remember how i knew Van Avermaet would go to BMC from an inside source?
Well, if just heard from that source that Gilbert might go to BMC next year aswell.

I agree, but in my opinion BMC and Gilbert don't fit, Omega is/was the perfect team for him - and there's probably a lot of teams out there interested in signing Gilbert |

Gilbert said he will choose tam depending on four factors. The pay. Long term future, stability that team will last at least 3 years. Domestiques and how the team will help him to develop.
There are four teams like that :
- BMC
- Sky
- Rabobank
- Astana
They all can offer big money and stability. Astana might least but Gilbert is good friend with Vino so that might equal it a bit. Doube he would go to Rabobank and Sky already has Uran for future in Ardeenes. Astana is wrong choice imo. BMC is the last option and that's why I am very sure he will go to BMC.

Tell me why Astana is the wrong choice? Vino is retiering after the Tour. Next year they wont have any dominant classic riders.
And Gilbert have a good friendship with Vino.
Venga Vino

Gilbert has ethics about doping. I'd be surprised (and I'd think less of him) for that reason

So because "sa victoire c'est sans dopage" he doesn't fit in Astana, but he does in Phonak II: The Return? |

Rabobank or BMC seems the best choice for him.
I really doubt doping will have any weight on his decision.

That's what I think too. Rabobank would be fun. |

Well I was right that he won't go to Astana.
“We are in the final straight,” his agent Vincent Wathelet told sportwereld.be. The final five teams still with a chance to sign him are Quick Step, BMC, Sky, Lotto and Omega Pharma.

Few rumours emerged about Cavendish's future.
I heard Cavendish is he will announce this week if he is staying at HTC or leaving HTC, similar to Langeveld has already done.
However, it is our hunch that if he is joining Sky he will make an announcment prior to the nationals. Cavendish is going to the Nationals with no teammates, and Sky are sending 9 riders. There will be no way he will fancy his chances against the combined might of Sky unless of course they are racing for him.
My hunch is he will announce before the Nationals and take the British stripes to the Tour de France. If not, I will be keeping my ear very close to the ground at the nationals.
