Smart decision by Omega to keep him out of the rest of the stages. It's way too dangerous to ride with only one eye at a 100% especially during the final kilometers leading up to the sprint |

Nice teamwork between Hushovd and Farrar. It's nice to see a guy wearing the rainbow jersey who's humble enough to make an effort like that for his teammate.

Cavendish has been known to bluff his hill strength in Tirreno in the past, time will tell if its a bluff this year!

Don't know if anyone noticed but few riders today lost some precious seconds, to be more precise 12".

No they haven't this season. But you know what I mean. HTC, Garmin and Sky always talking how they re-invent cycling. When in fact, the things they are doing are done by other Pro Tour squads already for ages.... That was kind off annoying.
Ehm,on the other hand your comments for years are not overrating dutch cyclists?
Says the guy, who's always overrating Kreuziger.

Haedo wins ahead of Farrar who launched his sprint too soon (or so to say, Hushovd's lead out was too strong for a tired Farrar). It was almost a group of 6, since when Hushovd took the lead Cavendish blew out, and others too, with 800 m to go. |

That was a massive leadout from Hushovd, he blew it apart, and Farrar had big problems following his wheel. And a great sprint from Haedo, looks like he is capable of doing a topclass sprint with 200kms in his legs now, based on his season so far.

Great sprint by Haedo, think he won from 5th place after Hushovd took the field apart? Think he only really started sprinting with about 50m to go, really nice. |

Nice win from Scarponi, attacking at the bottom of the hill, and holding on to it to the finish line.
