Great one by Plaza there. Also a very surprising result from Van Emden.

Nice stageresult. 2nd from Sammy and 8th from Castaño. Unfortunately both threw theyre positions on the floor on stage 3. I really hope that Castaño can go a place or 2 up in the final mountainstage. Also Sammy should be able to go into top 20, but seems he won't.

Nice idea for a stage - but I think with the time gaps probably doesn't need repeating. Unless as the opening stage of a race. |

A shame my team doesnt like going in breaks much, bring on the final stage! (Although I suspect Intxausti is only going to lose places)

Uhm ... Dekker? The guy who finished 2nd in the Tour de France? Is he at this race?
Kami, are you sure that you didn't activate 'Random fitness in stage race mode'? |

Damiano Cunego displays the form to show what a travesty is that he has never ridden a Tour de France in the 5 management game seasons to date with a dominant win, and with it a huge haul of 475 points. He moves right to the top of the Individual Standings, thus installing himself as favourite for the title - like Trofimov, he has Yekeratinburg and Lombardia to come.
Benat Intxausti meanwhile, makes it 3 Vesuvio riders in the Top 10. If only their next best rider was higher than 117th! Plaza goes into 12th, while A.Schleck goes 15th, and Henao, Dekker and S.Sanchez all pass 1000 points.

La Gazzetta, AKA Team Cunego, take a big leap towards 2nd place - or at minimum Top 3 - with Cunego's great performance here. Festina, Pearl and Vesuvio all had 200+ scores behind though - Festina as usual scoring well despite SotD's usual mid-race moaning of how pathetic they are - only Gazzetta and Nespresso scored more here. This all means that an off-race for Wikipedia has cost them their Top 5 placing, down to 6th they go.
Auber scored only 10 points, and they are passed by Jack Wolfskin - and are not right in to the thick of the very tight Top 10 battle, also involving Domina, Warner Bros, B&O and Lipton.
In the relegation battle, a huge performance for Henao Montoya gives Nespresso some vital breathing space - they close in on Philips aswell. The battle between Carmeuse and Energie barely changes though - Carmeuse got 163 points here, Energie got 162.
And not forgetting Sony Ericsson. This is the first time in a while their lead has dipped below 1000 points. Maybe theres more to come in this race?

Very close battle between Gesink and Plaza for JW's best rider. They both have one race to go, Plaza will ride in Herbiers and Gesink in Lombardia.
Also, 7th is looking very good for me, but the battle for 7-12 is also very close.

terrible race, but to be expected. As i feared i only have an outside shot at a top 3, and would require a great deal of fortune.
