My predictions are beginning to have the kiss of death attached to them... I will therefore go for an 'outsider' here...
Tomas Vaitkus
actually I will have a second pick in this lottery: Chicchi!

Vaitkus is an odd one in the game. It always seems to make him 3-star favourite, but in the actual action, he is more likely to make an attack in the closing stages and get caught, than actually go for the sprint.

Goss should do good on paper, but the last 2 races he did, he didn't even sprint AT ALL. Hope he decides to sprint now though, rly need all points i can get atm.

Not the race Wiggle wanted, while Pendletons start to edge clear in 3rd - and UBS pass SL Benfica for 4th. Both Milka and Bacardi move above Pokerstars while both Lego and Santander overtake Petronas and Bimbo. Tinkoff pass Telenor for 16th, and YouTube are off the bottom - ahead of HighRoad and Bbox.

Cobo up to 3rd as Kirchen closes the gap to Taaramae, dissapointing results for both Ponzi and Monfort though, as the other puncheurs all continue to move up the rankings.

Rjc will be very pleased Im sure - he had a goal to win that race, and Ponzi delivers. And Vespa achieve their Top 5 goal too - which will be some consolation for Ginanni missing the podium.
Very very very happy to win, especially as it was a goal as well (what WAS I thinking?!) But on the other hand, perhaps it would have been better to have been 2nd in both Garda and San Seb, rather than 1st and non-existant. I can't really afford to miss out on top 5's and 10's in any hilly classics if I want to win the Division, and for Ponzi to win the Individual, which would be nice. |

I couldn't not post Upsalla after Smowz and SN combined to predict the finish perfectly

I thought SN was saying Vaitkus couldn't win
I hope Telenor will give Red Bull some of the prize money!
These flat classics seem to make it hard for Sprint trains, but a welcome return to good form for Haedo and Hushovd continues... cannot believe Christoff beat Juan in the Van Heerden battle!

I got the method of win right though He usually attacks a bit earlier than he did there.
Telenor do seem to have a rather good knack at these flat classics dont they!
And 4th for Cavendish. Ive long since given up on any sort of realistic (stats-wise) result in these, so Ill take that.

The battle behind Wiggle continues, as a no score for Pendletons does not help their cause. 100% Me are up 2 to 4th, while Milka are 5 points away from also climbing 2 to 5th, instead going 6th - just behind UBS; while Pokerstars edge slightly closer to Bacardi in the battle for 8th and best new team. Like Milka, Bacardi have now scored in each of the last 5 races - bettered only by Falcon who have taken points in each of the last 6.
Mercedes scored the most in Uppsalla as they close on 13th, while Telenor's 3rd Flat classic triumph of the season lifts them above both Tinkoff and Red Bull to go 15th. Also on the up are UniCredit, climbing 1 to 24th.

Vanspreybrouck is back into the Top 10, with Hushovd now just outside it, and Cavendish is back in the Top 30 as Vaitkus goes 39th.

Going on what happened at San Sebastian you would have to say Lopez Garcia is a big favourite for the Urkola...
Those rankings are looking really tight for 3 of the promotion spots.
Pendletons are by no means as certain as I thought a bit a go - then we have Milka coming on strong, LEGO not so far off. Bacardi - need to be winning again as do UBS... Santander, Mecerdes and Benfica not so far off either.

Great predictions by Smowz and SN :-p
It seems that the combination of high sprinting and high fighting leads to the late attacking by Vaitkus, maybe something in the code that makes the game tell him that is his best shot at winning? Atleast it worked out great for me now
Finally I managed a season goal!
