That's what Dietmar Hopp also thinks! At the moment he's very pleased with the work of Holczer. This seems to be a team with great perspective for the present and the future. But you could be sure, that there have to come some big names, to get a proteam licence.

Just bike isn't enough to ride, you need also some other staff. Well after negotiations with a lot of good manufactures, Hans-Micheal decided to start a partnership with Shimano.
Our wheels and gearshift will be from Shimano Dura-ace.
Here a picture from the wheels, that we will use in flat stages: Shimano Dura-ace C75.

Yes, I think this is the best German rider, we could get! But to be competitive and to get a proteam-licence, we will need another rider in this range...
As we have now presented the half of our squad, it is possible that there will be two or three other big names! |

Here is some support for André Greipel. He just signed the contract with the condition that we would built up a strong sprint-train for him. So Hans-Micheal Holczers had to search riders, that would fit in the sprint-train profile:
First man we could gain for our team after very hard negotiations with Bob Stepalton was Bert Grabsch, the former world and german champion in TT is one of the best flat riders in the world. So Grabsch will be very useful in the sprints but he can also win some TT stages.
But Grabsch is a man for the last 10 kilometers, but is never a really leadout-man, so to get André in the riders position, we need a man with a good punsh, who could maybe when it's possible go one his own. For André, there was just one man who could do this, a former teammate. André argued that his not only useful in the sprinttrain, but that he had also other qualities, that could help the team. And yes this man, will also be a gain for the cobblestone classics. We are proud to present the austrian winner of 2010s Gent-Wevelem: Bernhard Eisel

After presenting a part of our sprintsquad, we will now go one with the stage-racers. As there are no highclasse riders in this category in Germany, we have to go abroad to find some very good riders, who could make some good results.
First one, we will present you is one of the big talents with a lot of potential to bring glory to our team. It's a rider, who can develop in the next years, so a good transfer for the future. We are sure, that he will also make results in the present.
Here is Rein Taaramäe
Another rider, who fits also in this profile is the young slovenian rider, who will come from lampre to us.The winner of last years Tour de Romandie Simon Spilak

A great mix between young talents and "older" riders so far.
What about Tony Martin as German "stage racer"? |
