The jersey looks like there is room deliberately left for someone to step in and sponsor the team at a later date. |

If that were true they wouldn't have a whole session dedicated to presenting the jersey.

I see similarities between Leopard's jersey and Saxo's jersey,
Or is that just me?

It's a combo of Sky and Saxo, I'd say - which makes sense considering the links (Nygaard and Andersen) |

The imagination in this team is impressive.

No Ronde van het Groene Hart this year, due to lack of sponsors. |

Here is already quite a full startlist. If all of them really participate and most sprinters have a good shape, it will be a very close decision between them.
Also Kristoff (BMC) said in an interview that he feels really great and will challenge Greipel and Cavendish. Normally he wouldn`t beat them but if they just look on each other, they will make mistakes.
His goal is a top5. |

Kristoff needs better results before he can start proclaiming targets of beating Cavendish and Greipel - so therefore presumably winning a stage - and a Top 5 overall, imo. Its a strong field in TDU, sprinters wise, and it would be an unlikely place for Kristoff to start winning sprints - when for now, looking at CQ, his biggest sprint wins appear to be at Ringerike GP.
HTC will sure be interesting though, with Renshaw, Cavendish and Goss. Who knows what condition Cavendish will be in, and Goss has already shown some form in the Jayco crits

Manolo Saiz has insinuated (via twitter) the possibility of a return in 2012. |

UCI and WADA will decide if Contador shall have a ban or not. Actually great by spanish federation. Finally they did something good |

It makes zero sense.
They are afraid of being considered nationalistic in their judgement --- well, how about all the other cases they have judged previously?
That said, I agree with the general idea that it shouldn't be up to the national federations to hand out bans. |

And they were quite snooty in the way they threw it out to others to judge.
"This way, they [WADA + UCI] are the ones who get wet". Actual quote.

They have spent a couple months just to finally pass the buck to the UCI. Seriously, whatever decision they take, their image can't get worse.
Anyway, this is bad for Contador, unless the WADA goes full retard and accepts a reduction of the ban. |

Well, it's unsure whether the time loss will be longer than a WADA/UCI appeal to the Spanish Cycling Federation decision.
Also, the longer they wait to take their decision, the longer Contador will remain suspended if he was to get cleared for technicalities or something like that.
I agree with Mike, it should be up to WADA to hand out doping cases, at least when it concerns pro athletes or any athlete competing at international level. |

The former biker Alberto León (involved in the Operación Galgo) has been found dead. Apparently, he hanged himself. |
