No, it doesn't.
Installing the DB in a wrong way / not having installed the needed packages is not a bug.

If you start the game the first time a folder will be created in MyDocuments.
There you have to copy the local and the database.
local in MyDoc/PCM2010
database in MyDoc/PCM2010/database

I have a big problem.. Every time i try to run a stage in career mode it crashes.. I just tried a normal stage in single mode which i was able to complete.. Can anyone help me?? |

Try lowering the graphic settings, the new DB is full of new equipment and better races. so try running on lower settings 
by the way.. the question has been asked many times, so there should be an answer somewhere around the forum.. just so you know

I really need help on this one...
For the first time ever I can't get this DB to run at all. I've reinstalled the game, got the patch 1.0.4.1 (maybe the problem?  ) and installed the DB as I'm told to and then the 2.1 version.
So I choose the BD in the game and then, when I try to run the career mode, everything appears as if I haven't installed anything (default:redface .
What have I done wrong? This is really confusing, since I'm installing you wonderful BD since PCM 08 and this never happened.  |

Probably the Local.cdb. Although I cant really help much as my computer is gone at the moment. There was a thread with just the Local.cdb which if you put in the right place might work...

As said in the installation description, you have to download the Full Expansion Pack V2 and V2.1 before installing the 2011 DB. |

Thank you, I actually forgot to install a pack
The game works now but it crashes in step 5 of Down Under. Can not play 3D racing, and impossible to simulate step

Cubano: When it looks like that, you haven't selected the 2011 DB in Options -> DB.
Locktar: You're still missing a package then. Make sure it's the FULL V2 package. Not just the update. |
