Benfica had a sensational Vuelta a Columbia scoring well over 500 points (my workings are estimates!). That is pretty good by anyones money and throws them right back into the promotion race, they will be looking forward to their home tour and other stage races. They scored regular points on every stage.

Behind this no one team really was anywhere near the success, LEGO's one man band just shading Pirelli, Bimbo Nutella, Red Bull and Quiksilver who all had reasonable tours. Bimbo Nutella I feel were a tad unlucky with Rodrigues' crash, he probably would have challenged for a podium sport otherwise.

Unicredit's Ortega was a slight disappointment and Yamaha faded to the background despite mammoth efforts by Bajadali.

It is no secret that Youtube will attempt 'a Benfica' at the Tour of America. They will need something miraculous with Highroad, Bbox and Falcon doing okay in Norway they are quickly sinking to the bottom of the Continental Tour.
