You do have some decent riders for breakaways also. I know it's a bit of a gamble to take a shot at winning a break, but I think your team has one of the best chances of doing so. Obviously I don't know which riders you have decided to go for, but in your team I would say that Florian Morizot, Christophe Le Mevel, William Ford, Dietmar Mehr-Wenige, Christophe Kern, Maxime Bouet, Sebastien Langeveld and perhaps even Pierre Rolland (if not the leader) could be very strong candidates on just about all terrains. They should be among the 2-3 strongest in their breakaway group, just about no matter who will take the chance...
But it seems you are indeed going to score a decent amount of points in most races you attend... I really want that Jerome Coppel in my team :-)

Haha, thanks, but I don't trust breakaways, it's often a load of pot luck. You also guessed pretty much spot on with the Tour team, but I don't think I've sent Mehr-Wenige. I might well have sent a 100% French team (which is quite likely considering my loyalties). And getting Coppel is quite likely considering I can't have two teams in the Pro Tour and I want Wiggle there, so one team will be disbanding I guess, or I'll work something out that's fair (like keeping the rubbish French riders).

My guess would be Wiggle comeing into the Pro Tour and Auber disbanding to open up a spot for someone who would like to join. I would love to see some Auber riders as Free Agents *drools*

Absolutely. There are several riders on that team that I would absolutely love to get my hands on :-D (Sounds so disturbing...)

Another shit result. Just want this race to be over with now... Seems that Wikipedia will take 500+ points on the second best team here. They will probably move into 5th or 6th overall after this race. Well done!!!

CT sprinters rule Actually I do not count Ventuso as a sprinter - he never wins in the CTour! |

Yeah the CT teams seems to have it all figured out for the sprints. I haven't figured it out yet atleast... I surely hope I find out before the off season, so I can get some better stageresults next year. That's about what I need to be able to win the PT overall... Same problem last year also.

My strategy is make them hunt in packs, 2 of them go everywhere, anymore and they get into one anothers way. I can't say it works particually well though

Plaza didn't really shine and a 2nd place is way more than I hopped for. Disappointed a bit by Cornu, who lost it in the final stage.
And I guess the AI messed up after all for Wikipedia, only Phinney following the attacks in the final stage.

What??
4 stage wins, 6th on the GC, and the mountains jersey?
In California??

This is probably my best race ever in terms of all round performance.

Still think Wikipedia had a pretty good race, but 2nd down to 10th is a fairly big points hike!
I have to say alexkr's reports with various camara views and the pace of reporting has been something that I have tried to mold myself on. The opening section of this stage nine report really set the rest of the report up, very clear idea of what was going on!
Santander possibly competing with Wiggle for Wild card team of the year here... lets see what happens in the Vuelta! |

Take that back!!! Shocking to even think that, especially if you look at how I performed in Tirreno too.

Maybe I have the better pics but my reports are smaller and not as good as yours. Still, I'm pretty happy people like the angles that I find for my pictures
SN, any chance to see some rankings updates before the Vuelta?

Haha cool. That was very very close to what I anticipated a couple of days ago:
"Samuel Sánchez didn't do too bad here, also Tim Dees impressed me. So hopefully Sammy can take a minute or so on a handful of riders in the final hilly stage to take 7th or 8th in the GC. And if Tim can also improve a place or to it would be pretty nice..."
Going from a race that was worth nothing to me, to a race in which I'm probably gaining on my nearest competitors Lipton, Sony Ericsson, Auber and Pearl Adidas, not to mention La Gazzetta and Domina... Nice!

Good job by Pedraza, almost getting into the top 10. Had no expectations for this race so I'm pleased.
