@Pellizotti2: will become slower in future. University continued today after semester break. So I don`t have that much time to play and write.
I am half finished playing Qatar and Mallorca, so I will probably add a bit every day.
@beagle: Will half all my pictures. So the file size will be 4 times smaller. Added new links in stage 5 and 6 Down Under. Will work on the other stages when I have time. Thanks for the advice.
@FreitasPCM: Indeed. It`s Ballan and Napolitano returning to Lampre in 2011

Tour of Qatar - Stage 1
West Bay Lagoon - West Bay Lagoon
Like every year the Tour of Qatar starts with a short TTT around the "West Bay Lagoon" in the capital Doha.
We have some very good Time trialists in our squad, so we expect quite a lot here. But all expectations won`t become true in Qatar. Many surprises often caused by the wind and high temperatures make this race special.
Our team will start in the next seconds and everybody knows that they have to step on the gas in the next 8 km. All newspapers and TV Channels in Qatar expect our team on the first place today.
Just the 6th place on the first checkpoint. Doesn`t look very good so far.
Already 14s behind Team Sky with Boasson Hagen, another favourite for the overall.
A big surprise in the finish. Nobody expected ISD-Neri so strong in a TTT. Especially after they lost Sinkewitz, Gatto and De Negri on the way.
Our Garmin squad couldn`t repeat last years win on this stage and was disappointing 11th with +31s. Also we lost Maaskant and Dean on the last meters, why they have 2s more than the rest.
Now Farrar must get some time bonuses to have a chance for the overall.
ISD-Neri leader Giovanni Visconti was the first guy over the line, so he will wear the yellow jersey tomorrow.
Result

I play on extreme, but if I want as much as realistic results in general, I have to switch to normal before TTT´s ...

Mallorca Challenge - Stage 1
Trofeo Palma
Todays profile looks harder than it actually is. We expect a mass sprint today.
Biggest favourite is Andre Greipel, who had already a preparation in Down Under.
But there are lots of other good sprinters like Davis, Rojas, Petacchi, Brown and Haussler. For Rojas it`s the first sprint in our team so we don`t know if everybody is already working perfect together.
Start in Palma with nice temperatures for February.
Just 1km later Pacheco (Xacobeo) attacks. Murilo Fischer will try to get in this group and follows him.
Later the group is complete. Now also Posthuma (Rabobank), Capelli (Footon), Muravyev (RadioShack) and Oroz (Palmeiras) are looking for a stage win.
Fischer might be the best sprinter in there.
Especially Cervelo for Haussler and Omega for Petacchi are doing the pace to hold the group in a good distance. Doesn`t look very good for them.
46km -> 3`53
4,6 km before the finish line they catch the group. But Fischer still feels quite good and attacks again.
But it was vainly. On the 2km mark they overtake him. Now Rojas is our men. He was positioned by Boom very well and directly behind the Columbia train with Clarke and Greipel.
And he finishes 2nd behind Greipel, but in fact he had never a chance to get the win. Greipel did a long sprint in the wind without losing speed. Rojas just used his wheel to speed up but he wasn`t able to accelerate another time.
I think we can expect quite a lot of him this year.

I already think about switching to extreme. My results so far are quite good but on the other hand the team is good and I am probably better in training schedules than the AI So I decide after Paris Nice and Tirreno if I change.
But normally TTT are easy with 99% and just pace with good TT riders. Almost win every TTT this way, but Qatar is weird.

Thanks for the tips. Will test some other views in future.
If you already have some Garmin stuff, it would be a nice try but it`s not that important that you have to work on it.
I might buy some Cervelo riders like Haussler, but nor more

Tour of Qatar - Stage 2
Al Zubarah - Doha Golf Club
Another totally flat stage through the desert of Qatar. Everybody expects a sprint and with Tyler Farrar we have the big favourite in our team.
But we were shocked after the weather forecast. Today we will have a very windy stage with wind speed up to 65km/h.
So controlling the field is very hard without losing some. Probably we will see a critical race, where everybody wants to be in the first rows to avoid losing time if you are trapped in a later group.
Start in Al Zubarah. It`s even hard to stay in the pack without falling against other riders with 62km/h wind speed. But it`s the same for everybody, so no excuse today.
Quite quick the first attack of an "An Post" rider. Australian champion Meyer immediately follows him together with some other guys.
The peloton allows them to ride during todays stage.
Ghyllebert (An Post), Intxausti (Euskatel), Pagliarini (Scott), Meyer (Garmin), Rollin (Cervelo), Jeannesson (Caisse), Gourov (Astana) and after a pursuit also Zielinski (CCC), Timmer (Skil), Christensen (Saxobank) and Forero (Cafe) will ride in the TV cameras today.
But the peloton controls them and it will be a mass sprint probably.
93km -> 5`39 and decreasing.
18km before the finish the gropu is catched and now the hard part begins. Wind speed up to 65km/h and everybody wants to be in front to have a good position in a possible sprint.
The sprint starts and Farrar unfortunately lost Maaskants wheel and so he tries to stay behind the Skil-Shimano train for Van Hummel.
With a unbelievable acceleration Kenny Van Hummel creates a small gap and sprints toward his first season win. But it`s still a far way and we have a strong headwind, so can he persevere?
What a misfortune for Van Hummel and a good end for Tyler Farrar. On the last meters Van Hummel can`t hold his speed and Farrar and Haedo can overtake him.
So after yesterdays disappointing start Farrar is on the way forward with his first season win.
Also Jack Bobridge did it into the Top 10. Another nice result for him.
With the bonus seconds Haedo also gets the leader jersey tomorrow.

Mallorca Challenge - Stage 2
Trofeo Cala Millor
Today we can expect the second mass sprint. It also will be the last one this Mallorca challenge. So the top sprinter will have a last chance here to show their shape.
Can Andre Greipel repeat yesterdays win or can Rojas celebrate his first victory for his new team?
Start in Cala Millor. Which rider will attack for another surprising breakaway win this season?
Khalilov (Katusha) is the first today. Still in Cala Millor he accelerates and creates a small gap. Some other riders try to follow him.
After already 8 km the group is together and it seems like the peloton is quite happy with this situation at the moment.
Perez (Carmiooro), Fernandez (Caja), Aramendia (Euskatel), Khalilov (Katusha), Piedra (Andalucia) and Dapena (Xacobeo) are forming this group.
Androni and Andalucia are not very happy without a man in todays group so Piemontesi and Cabello take up pursuit. They are already 2min in front of the peloton but also 2 min behind the group.
Already 25km later they they are able to close the lines. A very strong performance of these two.
At the 80km mark and 6`30 for the group Cervelo takes the lead in the peloton. Omega and HTC are supporting them but 90% of the work is done by Cervelo.
20km -> 1`30
These 3 teams are displaced by most teams without a guy in the group like Liquigas, Quickstep, Astana, RadioShack and Footon. Now the speed is very high and they won`t give them a chance.
But they still did it to the 5km mark before they are caught by the field.
Now the sprinter teams are building their trains.
The sprint starts and Lars Boom did and excellent job to bring Rojas to the front. But also Tom Boonen was positioned very well by Tosatto.
Tom Boonen like in his best years. A whole wheel lenght advantage. Also the first win in 2011 for Tom Boonen like Greipel yesterday. Rojas with a very good intuition with Boonen`s wheel but like yesterday he must be happy with the 2nd. Cardoso a little bit surprising completes the podium. The 4th had already a small gap to him.
Luckily Rojas overtakes the leader jersey after being the most consistent rider in this first two stages. A nice result for him so far.

Tour of Qatar - Stage 3
Camel Race Track - Qatar Foundation
135 km of a totally flat and windy stage. Probably we will see a mass sprint in the end. So Tyler Farrar is once again the top favourite. If he wants to have a chance to win this tour he is almost forced to win. Over a long time the route leads next to the Arabian gulf, where we expect some wind games of some teams.
All riders are waiting for the start shot. Again 57km/h wind speed and high temperatures.
Jezowski (CCC-Polsat) gives it a try. We decide to stay in the field today. In first line we have to take care of Farrar today.
The field follows him and some others with a high pace, so the first wind problems are seen. But after 40 km it`s Jezowski again with an successful attack. His compainons are Bauer (Endura), O`Brien (An Post), Amador (Caisse), Menzies (United Healthcare), Kump (Liquigas), Chamarro (Scott) and our old teammate Cozza (PSK)
40km -> 3`00
With a high pace the field is quite close to the Arabian gulf and the wind stretches the peloton very wide. All our Garmin riders are in the first third and well-positioned.
It can go very fast to lose contact. So 18km to go and now there are several groups. Except of Löw and Bobridge all our riders are in the first 39 man group quite close to the breakaway.
13km to the line it`s the end of the break. The first bigger pack overtakes them. Now everything looks like a sprint out of these group. Farrar is still there.
Wait! Chamorro wasn`t caught yet. He is still in front. Nobody have seen him before. as he was behind some motorbikes.
But it will be hard to stay in front with 10 more kilometers.
Just 4km and Chamorro is still in front. He must have saved his energy very well. Unfortunately our riders including Farrar are extremely exhausted after fighting for the contact to the next wheel over the whole stage. But 2 riders still feel great. Lancaster (Cervelo) plays the lead-out man for Breschel (Saxobank). Probably Lancaster doesn`t notice that he pulls a strong sprinter behind him.
500m and what a performance of the Argentine of the brasilian Scott team.
But like many riders before he is caught just a few meters before the line. Breschel seems to be filled with power even after this hard stage where almost nobody had reserves left.
Breschel celebrates and Chamorra is swearing like hell over a 2nd. Kenny van Hummel again with a good shape. His second 3rd place so far.
Lancaster arrives 4th ahead of Theo Bos who makes angry gestures that Lancaster didn`t wait for him and pulling Breschel instead. It really looked like The Bos could have made at least the 2nd today with a bit more support in the wind in the last 5km.
Tyler Farrar didn`t even reached the Top10, so he suffered a setback today.
Without time bonuses he have no chance plus Breschel is already in front of him and can increase the time gap to Farrar this way.
We definitely can`t be happy with this result.
