Mosquera positive as well

But that's got nothing to do with honesty though. I admit it was my fault. Pfft

It's still dumb to think that Spanish athletes are inherently dirtier than others. What happens in Spain is the natural consequence of an non-existent anti-doping policy, or rather a doper-protection policy.

I was joking Grin, and I agree with you on the doping front

Mosquera and Garcia De Pena dissapoint me, now the whole Vuelta was boring because of the stage up bola del mundo was entertaining but we all know he was cheating and still couldn't drop Nibali, What a let down, bye bye Mosquera hope we enjoyed your career, your finished now.

Very wise words here. Smile

For a decade and a half, Spanish authorities have decided to use sport as a way to run Spanish economy, either directly, either as a marketing product.

This has led to what you wrote, non existent or covering anti-doping policy, doping of sportsman and woman from the very youth categories, etc.
And it worked, even though some died on the way, look at everything Spain has achieved for the last couple of years in various sports.

I do hope there'll be a payback time soon. Pfft

Mosquera denies everything, and is allowed to ride the Giro di Lombardia next week, since his B sample hasn't been tested yet.
I thought all riders who got a positive A sample were suspended until further notice ?!

Because of the fact that it is not a direct performance booster, a rider tested positive for it in his A sample cannot be suspended until the confirmation of the positive by the B sample, and a disciplinary proceeding by his national federation.

UCI can't suspend riders without the B Sample. Usually though the teams themselves suspends rider with positive A Samples.

Mosquera's defense is not pathetic.

This and the Contador case is beginning to make me think Valverde was harshly treated, especially if Contador doesn't get banned.
