Not funny. It's a sin to replace the name of the one and only Chuck Norris.

What's next? Hushovd winning next year's Eurovision Song Contest because of his amazing ability to collect points in every way possible?
That's funny.

And E_Hagen why can't you see, that the norwegians are not the best in the world. Jesus Christ
And the answer is: because he can't think clearly when it comes to Boasson Hagen, Hushovd or any other norwegian rider, he loves them ^^

Wow. Three whole pages of comments and maybe three or four posts actually about Thor Hushovds abilities as a rider. Impresive.
I don't get all the hating on Thor. How does a few fanboys' overrating him make him a horrible cyclist? In my oppinion he is still a fantastic rider, albeit not the sprinter he once was.
No. This list is nonsense. Where's Greipel ? Ciolek (still better in my opinion that Dean, Turgot and at the moment Hagen) ? (Ok, I'm German, but still the list sucks). In Additon, Petacchi is not as good as Farrar, Freire and Bennati are better than Rojas, Hagen, Dean and maybe Hushovd. But I agree with you, Hushovd is among the top10 sprinters in the world (and also top10 on cobblestones).

Who said that Thor is a horrible rider? I don't think that anyone did.
He's still an impressive rider and I have huge respect for his way of surviving the tough climbs where other sprinters have to give up.

I don't like the extreme fanboyism, though
Well it just seemed that hating on the fanboys had turned into hating on Thor him self. It is not as if he is on here tooting his own horn so to speak.

Not liking extreme fanboyism --> Not liking opportunities for extreme fanboyism ---> Not liking Hushovd winning
Personally, I dont like Hushovd anyway - but thats how it can work for others.
Garmin-Cervelo got a tough call for the Tour De France 2011.
They know that if Hushovd is in top form is the best candidate to win the yersey because is abilities in Montains.
But they also know Farrar is one of few people that can match Cavendish, but Farrar cant go in the mountains.
Anyway i would go for Hushovd because if he does top 4 in many mass sprint then he can take them in the mountains.
