Just take a look on the top 10 on the flat stages in our Gameplay commentary. Speaks for it self.

Two replays: https://www.megaup...d=NC0DAGMH
Officialrelease DB - Difficulty Level: Difficult
I picked 2 useless teams and did nothing, leaving the AI playing the stage
Paris-Nice: Mende Stage
Vinokourov, Valverde and Gilbert (top 3 favourites) attack in the last kilometers creating no gaps, the stage ends in a mass sprint with a bunch of 100+ riders
Tour of Flanders
With 20km to go the bunch counts 109 riders!
3 of the main favourites attack in the very last few kilometers and win by 24 seconds over a group of 30+ riders.
And those are just the first two races i tried and registered.
During my career i had even more unrealistic gameplay. |

They need to be passed on to Talleyrand who in turn will pass them on to Cyanide.
So either post them on the 'Hilly Classics' thread on the PPDB forum, or if youre not registered there, post them here and someone who is registered on PPDB (like Ruben or me) will copy them across.

That's another nice example of bad gameplay on hilly stages:
https://www.megaup...d=VS3MWSEG
Officialrelease DB - Difficulty Level: Difficult
I picked a useless team and did nothing, leaving the AI playing the stage
Paris-Nice: Final Col d'Eze Stage
Arroyo from an early breakaway wins ahead of 113 riders peloton!

We need more tests of people really playing the game
So try to make the race hard and see what happens. |

Well, i don't want these results to happen, even if i'm doing nothing at all...
But i'll try to do some harder races later that day. |

Amstel Gold Race https://www.megaup...d=JTTKKFRJ
with 20km to go still 163 riders in the peloton
Gilbert wins with a small gap ahead of a huge peloton
i cannot actively play stages since i'm remotely controlling my home pc, but i can ensure you that there's nothing the player can do to avoid this kind of results. The pace is high (leaders couldn't create gaps) but very few get dropped. |

Seriously, are you stupid?
Play the game as you would do normally.
Cyanide wants feedback with people playing the game how it should be played.
Not the stupidity of picking a crap team and doing nothing. |

Just finished the Giro d'Italia and think it adds to crazy AI stories..
Nibali won by 10 minutes. He lost the climbers jersey on the last stage because there were only one man in the breakaway and Scarponi attacked for the points on all climbs..
The stages he missed top 10 was the 4th which was the team time trial and stage 13 where he came 11th after a 10 man breakaway came in first..
I really hope they can fix this

Thanks for all the input folks.
Cyanide has received two pretty big e-mails.
It will be quite a job for them but they seem to be fully committed to solve this now.
Maybe the patch will not be perfect in one blow.
But please let's be lenient and positive... it must be an unforeseen piece of workload for them for sure

Hopefully the flat stages will be fun to play again, and there will be some competition for the green jersey in the grand tours! |

Hear Hear.
With the way the sprinters/sprinters teams are acting, just makes it all to easy. If you make a sprint train. You win like Cavendish does IRL everytime..
