First of all, great work!
But what i really came about is to make a request for you.
Maybe you can make a stage including this mountain:

The point is, that this mountain has cobble sections. I would be very thankful if you would make it.

I have been thinking how a cobbled mountain would work in PCM, so it is highly interesting. I don't have much knowledge about the area but I should be able to come up with something. |

i think there's a something wrong with your stage. better check it with the editor, or maybe it's not in cm_stages |

It's in CM_Stages. But what could be wrong, I did it the same way I always do. But I have never done a cobblestage before, anything special I need to do? I just chose road nr. 7 for cobbles, and chose cobble stage in the editor. Something else? |

Whats the width of the road? If it's not set to 1 when on cobbles, you could try setting it to 1

It is set to 1. The game crashes instantly when I select it at Single Race mode. I'm thinking the game can't handle 10 coherent km of cobbles? |

And I was right, changing the last mountain from cobbles to asphalt fixed the problem. So it is impossible to create cobbled mountain stages?

It is impossible to make the whole climb cobblestones, therefore there is some gravel sections in between.

Haha, this is a disaster. PCM can't handle this it all. Cobbled mountains is not recommended at all!

It works, but the gameplay is just aboslutely horrible on the cobbled sections. Try it out, and tell me what you think. |

It was fun to play. Tried detailed simulation and 3D race. With detailed simulation winner( Maarten Tjallingii) attacked on second from finish climb. In 3D race winning rider (Aleksejs Saramotins) was from early breakaway.
Probably its better to play some parts of the climb with 2x speed, because there is parts where speed is from 4-10 km/h.
And one more thing that i liked is that riders who finished first had good MO and COB stats. That means that PCM engine is ready for Mountain-Cobbled stages, as i suppose. |

There is just the problem that nobody really knows what COB stats are good for climber.
Armstrong for example finished quite well in Ronde van Vlanderen, so he has a better stat than A.Schleck or Contador. But maybe they are even better, they just don`t take part in these races. So the COB stat should normally be totally ignored for climbers. |
