1. step: you add the helmets to the local.cdb (STA_tga)
2.step you placed them to the DB.cdb(STA_tga)
3.step you add a logo f.e. giro in the_equipment _marques.
4.step you add the helmets to the STA_equipment
5.step you saved the DB
6.step you placed the DB to the C://documents and settings/pcm10/database
7.step you owerwrite the local.cdb with the new edited local.cdb in C://documents and settings/pcm10/
is this correct?

Andy for me to add this stuff like this
i dont use the database editor at all i downloaded the helmets from here
https://www.pcmdai...d_id=12862
ok
now when i extract them to a folder i open the folder and change the names of the nif files allready in there to the name of the files in my game folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\CM_Meshes\Equipment\Helmets so its the same name and when i move them into that folder they overwrite the the ones allready in there ....
the next step is to change the other files from tga to dds and the place them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\CM_Textures\Equipment\Helmets
you must change the names so there the same as the files allready in there so when you move them they overwrite them ...thats all i do ..

When you are importing a local.cdb, you need to tick that box

the only things i use the editor for now is changeing the skins of riders so they have correct faces etc DYN_cyclist then i scroll across to skins and add type3 type4 type5 type6 and names of riders faces i have .
if you look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\CM_Textures\cycliste\skin
youll find type1 type2 type3 type4 type5 type6 these are faces you can add to the game in the data base editor in DYN_cyclist then i scroll across to skins colum and where there is nothing you can add type1 type2 etc and that rider will use that face ...same if you looking for andy schleck say scroll down the names until you find him then scroll across to the skins colum and add his name now he will get the proper face in game if you have a tga file of his face in the skins folder or just download 1 and place it in that folder.

Does it has something to do with the size of the files in .dds (frames).
For example the dds file of the TT bike in the basic version of pcm10 has a size of 313kb and which i try to implant in game has a size of 1MB?? |

No it has nothing to do with with the size because i changed the size of _d,_s and _n to 512x512 like the other dds frame files but same invisible frames in game.
Can someone help me please. |
