As doddy said, it is incredible that Lampre even allowed Thor to go. It can hardly be a surprise that he would try something like this.
It's fustrating, not because Thor is there, but because he's allowed to be there. Lampre and HTC for that matter could chase this down as soon as it went. Saxo would help.
Oh well, Thor will win, stage wins alone don't win this jersey (Learn that lesson Cavendish)

It aint a "Sprint Jersey", its a Point Jersey. These sprints in the middle of hilly stages like this one, just make the competition much more interesting to watch. Would have been quite boring with no sprints in the middle of stages, and a pure Sprint Jersey (points only at end of stage). |

nobody's been saying it's not a points jersey.
What we're saying is that the teams aren't taking an interest in these points except Hushovd, well if they want to win, they have to take an interest and stop Hushovd.

Well, you can't argue that Hushovd will earn his jersey this year.

Hushovd is 6 points ahead now. Judging by how fast Petacchi and Hushovd have been in the sprints so far, Petacchi should still be the favorite. |

Personally, I prefer to see the person with the most points win the jersey!

Can not see the whining about Thor going for breakaway. He has earned 16 points from them until now, though, he lost about 20 points in Spa.
