Morning's tactic meeting:
The riders came very nervous to the tactic meeting today.
We have comed to a incredible hard stage.
235km, up and down.
We all agreed that our breakaway man would be Renè Mandri.
Profil:
Ag2r was working like hell to get Mandri in the right breakaway, and well he did, and ag2r could almost at this point cher for the climber jersey.
Over the first mountain, and the only remaining riders are Mandri and Txurruka.
CRASH !!!!!! alot big riders went down !!!!,
-" and Frank, can you see who is down?"
no Earl, but i can see Boonen is down, Breschel is down, and a bunch of other riders!.
52 riders remaing in the peleton, it is fully unorganized, which rider is there? which rider isn't there?
7km to go, the bunch is unorganized and Dessel and Dupont are getting away !!!

Todays's morning meeting:
We was just chillin and enjoying the last day, knowing that we won overall.
I sat down with my cop of coffi before the start and saw in the paper
why?
This stage was just a calm stage.
A little breakaway got away, but they never had more than 1,12min down to the peleton.
A good good tour down under...
and what is the doping scam? |

In today's morning meeting there where alot of nervous riders starting there season.
This time we wasn't going to send anyone in the breakaway, but control the bunch.
Nothing special to report....
is the sun coming out?
this classic was a big long wast of time....
no breakaways and it was all going to end in a mass sprint!!!
with 2-3km before the line elmiger and roche had a perfect position!! but roche lost his wheel, and came far behind.
Etoile de Besseges
On today's morning meeting our main focus was the last couple of 100meters. we was seeing in detail that the sprint was in a small downhill. So it was important to stay up front, because if we was a little bit behind it would be hard to pass te others, it was going to be a fast sprint.

Today we was going to show the french colors of Dimitri Champion, he has the french champion shirt.
The first 6-8 breakaways didn't have a chance to get away but on the 9th...
.....and there was Champion.
The breakaway was looking good, but the bunch was slowly eating min.
with 30km to go the escapis had 3.12m....
....the bunch set the pace.
and the escapis tried a last desperat attack.
Ag2r had a perfectly postion on the last 500meters.
With Casper on wheel.
Hinault launched the sprint as first leadoutman with 400meters to go in the downhill, with 300meters to go Ravard was shooting speed, amazing leadout, 140meters to go...
....Casper took the inner turn.

Today's morning meeting.
The Moral today was incredible high, we was so focused to get the win.
The plan was to send a man in the breakaway, just to have a man in there, and then sprint for the line.
Profile:
The first breakaway got away from km one today.
Well at least we had Arrieta in the Breakaway.
On the most they had 4.56.
In the bunch Bbox and Saur Sojasun set
a high pace.
The sprint today was very unorganized and..

Morning meeting:
In the morning meeting today the boys was ready to give all they had.
The finish to day is very hard, and it will probably be some time gaps.
Profile:
Today we deciced not to send anyone in the breakaway.
The breakaway to day was just 4riders and on the most they had 7.45,
they managed ti hold the gap for a long time and the bunch almost got a little bit panic.
When the sprint started, Pudgornyy was launching an attack and Riblon hanged on that one...
....but so did fedrigo

Today's morning meeting:
When the boy's came it had been som news about the doping scam, 4-5riders have been taking for a new doping middle called Kerera.
But they hadn't published any names..
Profile:
After alot of wild efforts and many efforts, finaly a breakaway got away.
And There was Hinault.
The breakaway was realy riding today!!
with 100km to go they had 8.47
70km they had 6.12
and well....no it seemed like it was going to be catched.
30km o go they had 2.23. but with 20km to go they had 2.56
And they was holding it on 2.43 almost all the way in.
And the only mand that can beat Hinault in this breakaway group is Eeckhout.
Just one more stage and we got our win !!!
What a moral boost.
The bunch came in with 112riders. |
