So far seems some of the results seem realistic, but others are very bad.
How often do people get 22 people in a sprint finish in the Paris-Robaix for example? That not good..... |

i glad on the changes on the vlaanderen, now it is 5-7riders who are fighting for the victory, not nr. 1 wins by 4mins and so on
roses are grey, violets are grey, everything is grey,

What about hilly races like Amstel Gold Race or Liege-Bastogne-Liege? What are the results there?

Thx for the results
Milano-san remo sounds quite ok, I just hope we will see some sprinter victories in that race this year, in 09 the sprinters never won.
Gent wevelgem sounds bad, hope this is not the general picture.
Thx for the picture of the rooster, my english could be better I know
It seems that Cyanide has something to work on with the AI. |

I've tried the Ardennes. AGR three times. Twice a group of around 4-8 riders broke away in the very end and sprinted for the win. Once there was a bunch sprint with a bunch of riders. The sprint is short too, 1 kilometer. The hill starts with 1km to go too but it's nowhere near as tough as in previous PCM editions so the person in front usually wins the sprint it seems, at least in the break.
LBL though was more realistic and had a bunch of riders getting a gap on what was left of the pack. |

Doing RvV now.
Playing on extreme, Liquigas again!
Early breakaway as always; let's see if they still make it to the end just like in Gent-Wevelgem. It's only a three man breakaway (Vichot, Tschopp, Sicard) so i'm guessing they won't.
There's no rain at the start, but it's cloudy. After like 50 km, it starts to rain. Things could get messy!
100 km to go, hilly section begins, breakaway still has over 7 minutes lead.
At the Taaienberg ( i recognised the factory! ) The lead riders are 3 minutes ahead. Still 65 km to go.
40 km from the finish : group of outsiders and favourites separates from the peloton. only 40 possible winners left. Breakaway has been cought!
Weird thing i just noticed: BMC team sucks No ballan, burghardt or other cobble stone riders (they're not injured) Strange AI
20 km to go : Attack by flecha, Cancellara and Hoste follow, Rast tries too, but can't keep up.
5 km to go: All fav's back together, 25 man sprint for victory!

Starting from 79, there are bigger time gaps, last rider to finish : +40.46, 9 riders didn't make it due to overtime.
Surprises me that so much riders manage to stick together.

The hell of the north!
Liquigas and on extreme once again
Early breakaway after 20 km.
Peloton controls their advantage, they're never more than 3 minutes ahead.
Still no rain as we enter the cobble stone part of the race. Let the show begin!
There's a lot less crashes and flat tires then the first time i played P-R on pcm 10, I guess it's due to the dry weather... (seems realistic )
About 50 km of the finish line, the peloton suddenly breaks in two. Most of the favourites are in the first part.
Devolder and flecha are leading the first group away from the second, as they know that some outsiders are still in the 2nd group! That's actually smart
It seems that Cancellara is in great shape, barely anyone can follow him, and he's not even attacking yet!
17 km to go, Hoste attacks on the cobble stones! Cancellara, Burghardt, Pozzato and Quinziato follow.
Breschel and Maaskant react, they try to keep up with the ones breaking away.
All right... My PCM crashed, i'll try again

2nd Try, Liquigas in the Hell of the North!
Sunny day, too bad, cuz i prefer a lot of incidents in a race!
Basically same story as my first try.
Important to mention is that Devolder has crashed, noone of his team comes to help him tho. Probably a fault in the AI.
Woot! "Tom Boonen (No crashes or flat tires) seems like he can't keep up. He abandons the race" That's really odd He's the main favourite!
Just as in my 1st try, Peloton breaks apart at 50 km from the finish. Probably a difficult cobble stone section there.
20km to go, still 40 people together! However, this won't last much longer. Matti Breschel is ripping the group apart.
Attack by Flecha, noone seems to react, he easily gets a minute lead.
12 km to go: Counter by hoste and Cancellara, burghardt and Quinziato try to follow but can't keep up.
Wow, on the last cobble section of the day (Gap if i'm richt)
Breschel, Cancellara, Eisel, Rast, O'grady, Ballan and van avermaet fall! Awesome
Flecha enters the velodrome with a minute lead on Hoste and 1.30 minute lead on Pozzato and Leukemans
Results:
1 Juan Antonio Flecho TEAM BLUE SKY 6h44'30
2 Leif Hoste OMEGA PHARMA-LOTTO + 1'18

48 André Greipel TEAM HTC - COLUMBIA + 10'54
49 Tyler Ferrar GAMIN - TRANSITATION s.t.
50 William Bonnet BBOX - BOUYGUES TELECOM s.t.
Q-St team failed today! Boonen gave up due to a weak condition and Devolder was in the last group, he didn't even make it to the finish. I guess this is kinda strange
I find this result quite realistic. And probably i would get a result like this in my first try too.

I just ran Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in Career mode, a really weak field where I could probably easily dominate. But I didn't feel like it and I liked the breakaway so I didn't want to catch them. Apparantly since I was the favorite nobody else wanted to use their helpers to catch up with the breakaway, and Rubiera won it. It is apparantly possible to win with only 52 in Cobblestones. He outsprinted Rohregger and Danielson. The only rider that was dropped in the break was Malori. A group of 27 riders sprinted for 5th place.
I find it quite strange though that the field here is so weak, there were only a couple decent riders that weren't riding for my team. I brought a pretty strong team but as I don't like to dominate I let the breakaway get a gap. |

That's indeed strange, cuz irl strong cb riders are equally divided btween Omloop and Kuurne.. It's also weird that breakaways can make it to the end in races like Omloop and Gent-Wevelgem. I hope they fix the AI a bit in the patch |

I rode Kuurne too, same cobble-specialists there and once again I let the breakaway win. Losada took it in front of Seeldrayers. |

In my opinion, this is very bad, when was the last time you saw 40 riders together 20 kms from the velodrome in paris/robaix??? Never.....
I hope Cyanide is aware of this problem, it kind of bugs me that the game is this way. |

And even more strange is that in the 09 version it was almost perfect, ca 60 kms from the finish the race would break completly and only the favorites were left just like in real life.
I do not understand how the game can get worse in realism? |

I like the way it unfolds in RvV, but the P-R you simply have to do everything you can to rip the peloton apart. What I did though was I made the best cobblestones riders way better and made the gaps between the good and the bad bigger. So Cancellara is an 85. This way the results turned out a little more realistic than the official database. |

Well, First time i rode P-R on PCM 10 it was in the rain. The result was a huge difference of the one i just rode. Like only half of the riders finished, massive crashes and a lot of flat tires, Cancellara won it with 2 minutes ahead on Boonen and Breschel and Flecha. I didn't interfere with the race and just watched what the other teams were doing. Devolder actually sacrificed himself on Mons-em-pévèle for Boonen he ripped the group apart but was al empty himself. Too bad for them that there were still 2 saxo's ^^; |
